guess MMs were doing sector rotation (I am talking about the sectors of
small-mid-large caps). MMs also favored the value sector over the growth
sector.
I bought small amount of TRMA/SOLF/ESLR today, all at the closing price. I
bottom-fished 2000 shares of YGE again, and sold all 3500 shares of YGE. So
it is all gone. I sold a few thousand shares of XIN at day-high in the
morning, and bought back 8000 shares at $3.87.

第一，经济环境变化了，不容易找到depress sector了，其实dry bulk shipping算是
一个，不过depress的原因更多的是在产业结构上出了问题。
第二，既然很难找sector turnaround，那么就要找company turnaround。这个我是新
手，在WNR上的经验也未必能用得上。公司的turnaround比sector更困难，sector受经
济周期带动，公司呢？因此我觉得NOK, AMD, EK,S这样的公司，我在看，但是觉得风险
都是很大的（从我的投资方法的角度来看，如果你Swing trade，没准机会还多呢），
很多因素都可能引领公司走向不同的未来。
第三，目前大盘走势让人很难以捉摸，不能让我毫无顾虑地建仓。当然，我也没找到特
别合适的呢，嘿。 |

的顶部特征，这是个很大的阻力。欧债或美债的各种新闻依然是今后的大涨或大跌的导
火索，但本质是大资金的流向。在这个点位上，就看MM们的决策了。上周希腊闹一下，
这周意大利闹一下，都gap down很大，又被强势拉了回来。但要保持警惕，不要形成惯
性，以为每次都能这样拉回来。还有，不要觉得现在市场是由消息决定的。消息只是增
加波动性，不影响主线，反倒让主线更不容易被看清，成为MM很好的掩护。就像10/4凭
空拉升400点从而确立了一个月来的上升趋势一样，下一个拐点，也可能依然没有消息
，或是藉某个小破消息。
2. 不要忘记sp月线上有五连阴，九十年代以来的三次上升通道中从没有过，只在顶端

第一，相对强弱
我相信一句话：强者越强，弱者越弱！股票市场同样遵循这个道理。这个也是我一进公
司后学到的第一课：相对强弱，买比市场强的股票，卖空比市场弱的股票，在大趋势涨
的情况下，买入多于卖空，在大趋势跌的情况下，卖空多于买入。
其实我觉得这也就是professional和非professional之间的区别：非professional喜欢
买跌得多的股票，越跌越买， professional正好相反。（当然，招无定式，我的
trainer就是一个专买这种暴跌的股票的主，当然，我会把他的策略也写写。）
策略有了，怎么用呢？告诉大家一个最简单的办法，就是比较：怎么比，要做nasdaq多
的话，就把你的股票和nas100指数比。先说daytrading 吧：我喜欢把index future的
图放在股票图的上面，这样一比，你就可以看出来了。当index往下跌的时候，你的股
票不怎么跌，当index breaks low的时候，你的股票却没有，这…就叫强势股。为什么

, I think the sector will be profitable still. Its portal sector is a stable
cash cow. Sogou is already breakeven. Sohu video is a solid player in its
sector. BTW, I would think they already gave up on weibo, hehe. Therefore, I
don't see serious cash-burning problem like SINA on weibo.
Given that it has $0.9b cash on its balance sheet, I seriously think
Charles Zhao should consider a LBO. :)

发帖数: 346 | 22 谢谢。我的策略虽然是top-down,但不是stock picker或者sector picker，而是根据宏
观和行业来排除掉风险高的地域和行业板块。在没有排除的版块里对于其中的强势股，
我有时候会比较主观拍脑袋的同时基于技术指标选择一些组合，然后在持有期里根据技
术指标和宏观面的变化割去弱势股rebanlancing，继续持有强势股。这个策略的好处是
能够及时避免掉烂公司烂行业等可能带来巨大损失的错误选择，但是坏处是对于一些长
期不涨甚至明显落后大盘但是忽然一日暴涨的股票我是抓不住的。当然持续稳定上涨的
股票我能拿得住。所以由于我的策略所限我没办法建议sector,很可能我进的sector不
是个好的sector，我一两个月内就rebalancing了。当然我会尽我所能对一些问题进行
分析，如果有明显风险的我会及时提示。以上仅是我个人看法，不代表任何投资建议。

个stock picking market。E&P sector 整体是loss, 个股不是。所以我说只能考虑买
high quality E&P names，buy on weakness （最好是Permian basin /Eagle Ford
names， capex efficiency, good drilling acre quality, deep inventory,
strong liquidity/balance sheet) 只有那些股票是禁的住低油价考验的。比如 FANG
是 SMID cap Permian basin 最高质量的公司之一，YTD +15% vs SPX。average high
quality E&P stock return YTD 差不多 7-9% (当然和板上很多大牛百分之几十几百的
收益不能比）。从TA上看，这类的个股基本上底已经有了。

1、这个是最初级简单的对比 （PE）
2、偏差肯定非常大 － 就拿了本版几个典型、或者本版大牛的皮克
附加废话说明：最基本的PE分析前提是，PE必须对比所属sector的PE值统计特性，否则
毫无意义。
最后说明：这个对比并不是说明科技比医药、零售更合理，而是说明：如果医药零售里
胡乱选股，会显然比科技差。反过来，肯定也有具体例子可以对比，如果科技里胡乱选
股，也会有问题。
所以，选股好坏就在于选股的标准，和哪个sector没有必然的逻辑联系。

澳洲这边的职位可以分成两大类, 一类就是普通的公司职位private sector, 一般的申
请只要一封cover letter 和一份简历就够了, 不必多解
2 另一类是public sector, 就是政府, 公共机构和慈善机构等. 这类工作申请比较麻
烦, 耗时较长, 两个月以上极普遍. 除了cover letter& resume, 至少还需要一份针对
所有selection criteria 的陈述. 比如我申请的一份queenland州的职位就是这三个文
件, 加一份简单的申请表格OK了, 但很多NSW的职位就麻烦的多, 要先联系索要
information package, 收到后填写n多表格, 包括最重要的 selection criteria
addressing和personal statement, 再寄回去, 等等. 需要提醒你的是, 不要轻易的申
请不太符合你经历的public sector职位, 因为public sector application极耗时间,

风险自负，public sector就一定得有旱涝保收的pension？
而且最关键的，private sector的401k是雇主自愿的，没有法律规定公司一定要提供
401k，但是市场机制决定了没有401K留不住人才，所以公司自愿提供各种福利，这就说
明pension不是必须的，pension对公司的竞争力甚至是有害的，为什么几大汽车破产重
组以后，工会主动同意比较不那么优惠的term？如果工会死抱着以前的待遇要求不放，
结果必然是大家一起沉船。皮之不存，毛之焉附？公司都玩完了，工人的福利从哪里出
？？
转回头来看public sector的pension，付钱的人是你我他，当我们不愿意也无力负担
pension的时候，为什么不能说NO？为什么还被要挟着绑架着年复一年地付下去？就是
因为工会和政客吃准了我们不敢让加州破产，吃准了还能从我们身上榨出更多的血汗钱
，好像汽车工会要等到公司真破产了才能觉悟，除非你我他tax payer坚定地说NO，加
州工会死也不会主动松开嘴里的肥肉。

when a fund manager needs some exposure to the financial sector, there are
basically just 2 options, GS or MS... not only they are the benchmark for
the financial sector, right now, they are only 2 pure investment banks (teir
1) left.. in the past few years, if a manager wants to seek short exposure,
they would normally pick MS instead of GS, as GS has been doing way better.

if I do I sector-by-sector backup, can I restore it to a different disk/

如果那个硬盘是 4K sector 的，那么不 align 的确会影响性能。
就是读写一个 4K sector 内部需要读写 两个 4K sector。
如果是特别老的硬盘内部是 512 sector 就不需要 align。
2011 年以后的硬盘都是 4K 的。
gparted 一般不敢动 windows partition 的 alignment。
那个改了以后 windows xp 有可能启动不了，需要 rescue
重新写一下前面的引导部分。 |
