发帖数: 1500 | 1 房子买了后一直在张罗home security，做了些research， 现在写出来希望对大家有用
。也互相讨论下最佳方案。
目前主要有三种方案比较适合SHF。
方案一，使用象adt等，开启monitoring，三五十刀不等，但是mitbbs上评论该类服务
并不是很好，
方案二， hardwired camera system， 走线感觉难度比较大，不能防止入侵。
方案三， wireless ip camera, 有人提到稳定性，不是很清楚。也不能防止入侵
对于SFH来讲，home security的首要目的是防止小偷进入，其次才是万一被偷能留证据
抓小偷。老美警察出警还是很迅速的，破案倒未必，特别是小案件。
1. 威慑作要是第一步，也是很重要的，
插adt 牌子，贴security protection 标签 （门，窗），挂假的摄像头等等，
绝大部分小偷都不是惊天大盗，基本都是柿子挑软的捏，看到你家的有安防系统，可能
就跳过你家去另外一家了。
2. alarm 是第二步，也是最重要的一步，万一有人入侵，你至少马上会知道，而且警
铃会吓跑绝大多数盗贼。

从有Annual fee的Secure信用卡转成通常没有年费的信用卡，比如什么BOA 123，你
Secure card的年费是继续carry over的！对，也就是一般人的BOA123从不收，但你要
被收，因为你是从Secure CC转过来的，跟别人不一样！归根结底，银行说你的BOA 123的
agreement是和当初签Secure cc一样的，而那个agreement里带有年费。我这是当年调
研BOA Secure card众多帖子得出的经验，所以用了一年左右，大家就最好转别家了，
当然是先转成功再cancel这个。
其次，其实high balance似乎很好消除，因为它每个月更新，所以只要你需要的时候那
几个月少用，很快以前high balance历史就能被新月份的overwrite了，至少我看到的
信用分数是只考虑当前月份的balance，比如我的citibank identitymonitor就这样。
当然也许查
信用的公司会看你过去一段时间而不只是当前的，那就另说了。

理由:
1、现任版主bigcat已有快两年没上站了，现在版面长时间无人管理，出现很多问题，
比如：平均几天才有一篇文章；精华区空白；版面基本上都是问病毒和系统故障的内容
，而关于privacy policy（比如HIPAA等）、security的基本知识和技术这些security
的重要理论和应用部分却很少。
2、我认为security应该是一个很不错的一个版面，topic很firm，field也不少，有兴
趣学习讨论的网友肯定也不在少数。因此我愿意申请security版主，希望能使这个版面
早日恢复往日的生机。我做过一点security方面的东西，虽然不多，但也有一点粗浅了
解，并有一定的兴趣。希望通过做好版务工作把爱好security的ID再吸引过来，同时也
把精华区建立起来为大家提供一个学习园地。就这么点想法，很简单，但是我认为也很

给算成了noncovered securities
过去一年买卖过几次
可broker寄来的1099B上头几次交易记录只列出了我卖它的价格
没有列出我买它的价格
那我去报税的还得自己回头去查当时的买入价吗？
其它的股票都算成了covered securities
1099B上买入/卖出价都列出来了
好奇为什么noncovered securities就不列买入价呢？
查了IRA主页，似乎covered securities交易必须要申报，但noncovered securities好
像没要求？ |

social security tax and medical tax之前的gross income。
不知道是不是哪里搞错了，否则这不就相当于我还要对已经付的social security tax
and medical tax进行第二次交税了吗？
另外，州税表中有一项“taxable social security and RR benefits”,请问这是不是
相当于我所付过的social security tax and medical tax？如果W2表中那一拦为空，
是不是不能填？

。
刚刚开车回到麻省，明天还有考试，睡觉之间快速写几个字。 作为今天的感谢。
虽然和组委会联系足足有近一个月。我实际抵达并参与security只有短短48小时。 感
谢老大和组委会其他人员大量的前期工作。 包括会场地图和jason等人的协助和参谋。
使得我们能在短短几个小时内完善了整个会场的安全计划。 我不得不说，我参与过很
多security行动，包括在伊拉克阿布格莱布中央监狱长达10个月的驻守。 我们人员的
素质是历次行动中最高的。虽然没有出现准备中的严重冲突，但是大家对security 的
理解和execute 都是非常高素质的。 充分表现了这次参与者的素质。没有你们，这个
工作是mission impposible.

62岁早退，1960年出生的人 66岁为正常退休年龄，1960年后出生的人的正常退休年龄
为67岁，晚退的年龄是70岁。
正常年龄退休的SSI 是100%， 62岁早退的SSI是正常年龄退休的 75%，70岁晚退休的
SSI是正常退休的132%。
如果你在62岁就开始拿正常年龄退休的SSI的75%，但是你还在工作，那不好意思，你的
年工资收入的超一定部分的50%是要交换给国税局的。如果你是这种情况，建议可以在
12个月内向social Security Office 提出申诉，把之前拿的SSI还回去，继续工作到66
岁再开始拿正常的SSI。
SSI的提领策略有一个是：
如果夫妻双方结婚10年或十年以上。工资高的一方，到达了正常退休年龄（66岁），并且
他的SSI的50%要高于工资低的配偶的SSI。
而工资低的一方超过（62）工资高的一方可以先File他的social Security 然后马上
Suspend,等到70岁再开始拿132%的SSI。这样工资低的一方就可以在62岁开始拿工资高

收到broker寄来的1099B
上头covered securities都列出了proceed/cost
而noncovered securities只列出了proceed
可是那些noncovered securities都是我在2011买入和卖出的
为什么1099B上不列出cost呢？
请问这些noncovered securities需要汇报给IRS么？
那汇报的话，我还得自己去查每笔交易到底成本是多少啊？

1. H1是要交social security and medicare taxes的。 但这个taxes有可能全部要回
来。
2. 绿卡也是要交social security and medicare taxes的。 但这个taxes有可能要不
回来。故你朋友拿到绿卡时悲喜交加 （主要是不明白他悲在什么地方）？
如果对申请绿卡没有影响，是否H1人人都应把交的social security and medicare
taxes要回来呀？

，结果我们欠了联邦一万刀。
举个例子：LD的同一个公司的2009和2010的W2 (每年都工作了部分时间）
2009
wages: 52737
Federal tax withheld: 7868
Social security tax withheld: 511
Medicare: 120
Total tax withheld: 16%
2010
Wages:42450
Federal: 2080
Social security tax: 2918
Medicare: 682
Total tax withheld: 13%
叫的税都差不多，可是明显2010年 federal 少很多，所有的税都跑到social security
tax里面去了。结果今天算税的时候，发现全家要欠联邦很多钱。
请问是不是哪里出了问题啊？Social security tax也算作联邦税么？ |

没有列出我买它的价格
那我去报税的还得自己回头去查当时的买入价吗？
其它的股票都算成了covered securities
1099B上买入/卖出价都列出来了
好奇为什么noncovered securities就不列买入价呢？
查了IRA主页，似乎covered securities交易必须要申报，但noncovered securities好
