My 2016 Legacy 2.5i avg mpg is now 29.5 for the first 1k miles, a little
better than the avg 29.1 mpg for the first 600 miles previously. All my
millage are 95% highway with speed at 65~80 mph, with barely any traffic jam.
I have tried various speed (mostly 65~80 mph), and never exceed 4000 rpm (
seldom exceed 3500 rpm to be exact). I think I tried my best for break-in
for the first 1k miles already.
Not sure how much better my mpg can go.
