Yes, I don't think SPY will move another 5%. FXI is even more dangerous. I
need to sell FXI. if I do now, I will lost money. So I want the protection.
People told me the covered call is safer than buying put for hedge.
since FXI fluctuate alot, I think I can't constantly sell next month call
like someone does for HD or T.
Based on your suggestion, I guess I need to sell ITM call. and it is 远期的
CALL.

这个是个covered call 所以说法上可以的。
你如在broker 单开仓位一个一个开，是一个buy to open 100 shares xxx
然后如果单独操作那么就是 sell short 那个covered call 因为没有那个call的仓位
严格说叫short 而不是sell
所以就成了所谓的 short covered call |

但是具体这个indicative rate是怎样的，昨天去branch office问，得到的答复是：没
办法预先告诉你。只有等操作完成了系统才会算出来。
所以想问问大家，你们在做short sell之前，是怎么估算这个Rebate fee的呢？
还是Scottrade就是不适合做short sell，应该找其他家的平台？（顺便求大家推荐炒
股平台）

I'm thinking about selling our house and then buy one. Instead of going
through the stress to sell and buy at the same time, I'm willing to sequence
the two (i.e. sell first, move to a temporary apartment, and then buy.)
Has anyone done this? Did you rent a regular apartment and put stuff in
temporary storage before buying? Or you get a temporary apartment? Any
advice would be greatly appreciated.
