我要替中国辩护，并不是因为我是一个中国人，而是因为我知道中国就和这世界上绝大
数的国家一样，虽然有很多丑陋的现象，但是他们是受害者。就

不过你有一点说对了，千老成为教授的比例微乎其微。这年头很少有fresh PHD出来直
接当AP的，一般的Tenure track AP 都至少要几年的薄厚经验。能从几轮千老里熬出来
当上AP，五年后拿到tenure那也算是功成名就了。
话说回来，国内国外现在都是一样的情况，每年毕业生中最顶尖的一群人都去工作了，
去继续读硕士博士的只能算是中游偏上。当然，第三世界亚非拉兄弟国家的情况另算，
人家在自己国家哪怕是top 0.1% 都放着工作不要跑来美国熬PhD，就是为了能来美国，
脱离第三世界的苦海。典型的例子，参照近几年蝗虫般来美的伊朗学生。 |

我还在震惊中，嫂子今年45岁了，是一名老师，人长得漂亮，平时生活很是规律，注意
运动和保养，早已顺利评上高级职称，上一个月还和我哥开开心心出去旅游一周回来。
日子对两人来说真是越过越好，正到事业稳定，经济没有负担，开始好好享受生活的
时候。 没想到因为嫂子一场腹痛，我哥就想着趁着十一假期带着我嫂子去医院检查一
下吧，竟然是恶性肿瘤，据说瘤子已有十几公分大。她的单位也是每年都组织体检的，
