我有个while loop， 大概loop 5000次。 每次while loop有个5000个row的table被
scan一次，然后有个很大的table被update一次。其实我还给这个table加了index。但
不知道为什么，大概run一段时间后整个sql server 窗口就关掉了，好像是memory
hike到一定程度了。 我在task manager里观查memory是一点一点加上去的，然后到一
定程度就cush掉，把整个sql server client给关掉了。不太懂sql server这一块是怎
么工作的，每个while loop不释放memory吗？怎么样可以让每个while loop释放memory
呢？望懂得人指点。不胜感激！ |

上面的一个folder 已经share 开了；现在我想在一台server 2003上map 这个folder，
但是死活不work. 给的错误是“network path couldn't found” 一类的。我觉得
share应该是没有问题的，因为我在另外两台xp上可以毫无问题的map这个folder, 但是
就是不能从2003上map. 有趣的是，我是了另外一个server 2003, 也不work. 难道
server 2003 有什么默认设置要改？我插了一下service, 我已经把web client
service 打开了，还是不work. 求救！ 谢谢各位高人了！ |

不熟悉的话. 不如换个性能好点的server.
如果中间offline可以时间长点没问题的话，两个server换着跑VM大概是最适
合你的。vm可以连数据拷到另一台机器上。间隔的时间基本就是复制和vm 启动的时间
如果有NAS/SAN的话，可以再省时间或者干脆上 cluster. |

以前的老Dell 1800 server 有个ARECA PCI-E RAID 卡，over GBE可以很轻松到 60MB/
s。
Thecus NAS 用linux and samba，可以定时开机关机，wake on line，很小很省电，是
我买的主要原因。不过真没想道这么慢。
有没有nas server支持PCI-E RAID卡的？
或者把我的老 server 换linux,模拟Thecus 的操作？哪家linux可以这样？ |

i915G chipset (GMA900 display core)
PCI-E x16上插着ATi x1300pro/256MB
网卡是内置的intel 100MB
硬盘的话原带一块80GB maxtor SATA，另外有块多出来的空白500 GB 7200.12
装的是vista ultimate 32bit（可惜32 bit cpu无法物尽其用4GB 内存）。得益于edu
email account，弄了个免费windows server 2008 r2 standard，但不知道能派个什么
用场。
R2好像就是64bit的，所以p4 2.8HT可能还装不了，而且这玩艺其实颇费电，但也没办
法，要不要把显卡拆了用板载的GMA900，再去搞个64 bit p4，拿来做24hr开机的
backup file server？另外server 2008 R2能不能设置定期自动从网络上的其他电脑同
步更新备份文件？ |

了，如果光是就用一下单位的Folder，应该没有必要换网管。但海量的数据全在Server
上，太让人头痛了。所以就怕我这边上配置了，结果不起作用就亏了。 |

除非你没钱把他们分开，或者你的运算机工作量大到了需要24/7连轴转(如果是那样，
我假设你跑SAS是在给人做consulting挣钱，否则没有revenue自己傻跑个啥?)。
另外，你的server定位是家庭的数据服务中心，而不像公司的data center一样要提供
web服务和后台数据库访问。所以数据服务方面一个低功耗高效的nas或者类nas系统(比
如用低功耗的wintel系统跑服务）就够了。操作系统用Windows Home Server或者win7
即可。我敢打赌
windows server的额外功能你根本用不上，而且配置起来后者显然更麻烦。
另外就是你的运算机了，如果你新家network structure做得好，NAS到你的运算机(工
作站)数据传输速度达到60-70MB/s没问题。你的workstation不需要配置大量的硬盘，
只需要一块高速的ssd运行系统，1-2TB的硬盘存放计算用的数据和中间结果。工作站的
计算能力和内存则是越大越好。虽然你说SAS不需要cpu多快，但是显然更高效的计算可

XBOX看着都还好。突然发现视频播不动了。去查电脑，发现处于崩溃状态，鼠标能移，
但没响应了。连续两次都这样。如果不启动PS3 Media Server，电脑就还好。
PC是4年前的老台式机。酷睿2 E7300, 6G内存，能够handle得了PS3 Media Server么？
还是哪里没有优化好？

在Exchange Server上, 这个选项默认是"只自动回复给本服务器
的账户". 如果有本单位以外的用户发送电子邮件,将不会自动回复.
我现在知道, 对来自到本单位的电子邮件, 发件人将只会收到一次
自动回复. 以后不管怎么发, 都不会再发送自动回复到同样的账户.
我的问题是: 对于本单位以外的用户, 对某个电子邮件地址可能
收到几次自动回复?

其web server在fire wall 后面,是用private IP(192.168...),
靠防火墙把它转化成public IP.
现在的问题是fire wall以外的都可以用public IP访问
该网站了, 但fire wall以内的还不行.
一个解决方案是在内部网的DNS server上加个解析,
既把domain name指向private IP(192.168...).
有什么其他解决办法吗?
不好意思, 我还不知道这个新指向该如何在(Windows 2000)DNS server上做呢?

发帖数: 309 | 46 我新近换了wireless G的router，三台电脑只有一个belkin 的G pc card, 还有一个
cisco 350 和一个orinoco gold。
belkin的pc card用在哪里都没问题，可是cisco和orinoco刚换router的时候还能用，
现在突然不灵了。 orinoco机器根本找不到，cisco总是一往直前的挂在邻居的信号
质量很差的network上，而且安装了各自的utilities software也不管用。cisco卡
的图标上，不论如何点也没有available network的选项。奇怪的是连350 utility
里面都没有。
此外，俺新近买了个wireless printer server，可是安装的时候跟班找不到server。
就算俺把computer和server都放在diagnostic mode并且把SSID设成一样也找不到。
哪位大侠能帮忙指点一二？

First install Apache server, modify the setting to set the web server IP.

can ping it, and I can recieve and send email using outlook.
Yet, it works sometime, but most of the time, it doesn't.

by the way, it seems that the mail server will redirect the request to another
