sewage system". 在另外一个问题里 "how many bedrooms was the on-site sewage
system approved?", 他们回答 "4 bedrooms"。（他们房子里有共4个bedrooms）
但是county网站上信息显示该房子的Sewer/Septic 是“PUBLIC ”的。房子的lot size
有“Acres 0.35”， 对方listing agent也说该房子没有septic系统。
不知道这个房子到底有没有"on-site sewage system"，到底"on-site sewage system"
是指的什么？ |

子里的sewage well里，然后由装在井里的grinder pump把废水pump到山坡上town 里的

你自己先看看进水，出水的方向，pump的方位应该大致有数。
只要不是没有水干转，pump一般是不会烧坏的。
youtube上有些视频。这些pump的工作原理应该差不多。你自己先要搞懂基本原理。
要不二百五的师傅来了胡说一通，你也真假难辨。

By the way, the water and sew office does not get actual readings each time,
they just do estimates. E.g., when we moved in, our first quarter bill was
more than $600, we were shocked and called the office, they asked me to

general。sewage和chimney需要额外请专业人来检查，要用摄像头伸到管道里去检查，
这个一般的general是不会查的也没法查。我查的sewage有树根侵入，建议从新铺管道
或者reline整个管道，预计花费六千多。chimney发现有个非常小的缺损，检查的人说
其实基本上不影响使用，但是因为他做检查，要指出所有问题即使是非常小的问题，因
为这个要修起来不容易，他只能建议重建chimney，预计花费要上万，他自己都说听起
来很可笑，因为他个人认为这点小破损基本不影响使用，如果是他的房子他会继续使用
而不去重建，但是因为给别人做检查他只能建议重建，因为他不想担任何责任。
general检查出很多鸡毛蒜皮的小问题，对于降价帮助不大。后来我就给seller说你这
个sewage有问题，至于烟囱的问题，因为我这个人太好了，就不烦劳你去修了，但是我
要让你知道这个烟囱建议重建。然后seller给我降价4000美元。虽然这些检查不便宜，

If only one toilet on first floor has the problem (assuming you have more
than 1 toilet on 1st floor), it's likely that toilet's sewage pipe is
blocked. In that case, using other toilets won't make it worse.
Otherwise it's the joined sewage pipe that's blocked.
There should be clean-out points outside your house you can access to clear
the blockage, if you are not afraid of dirty work.
