brand sewing machine and bring it to China because the sewing machines
there either have low quality or too expensive. However I know that the
machines here use 120 volt AC and China is 220 volt. I am not sure if a
voltage adapter would help. Have anybody had successful experience on using
a USA-bought sewing machine in China?

I thought if I buy fabric it will be easier to find a matching one.
I am not good at sewing. I wonder if anyone can recommend a sewing machine.
It is not my hobbie, it is just for window valance (8 windows total). worth
it?
