在美国已经有一定知名度，加上今年二月金知云与加州州长合作的The Last Stand在美
国主流院线说得过去的表现，我对Stoker还是非常地期待。可惜周围影院居然都没有排
片安排，只能等新出的蓝光看。不虚两个小时的电影时间，Stoker诗意地展现了一
段从女孩变成女人再变到女魔头的心路历程。与朴赞郁的复仇三步曲一致，全片暴力和
乱伦的主题贯穿始终，但整体的氛围却是抒情的，典雅的，沉思的。这也是朴赞郁一直
以来电影的特色：诗化的暴力。

第一张，LR版本里车子顶上黄色部分都clip 掉了，感觉shadow boost 够了但是
highlight recovery 不够。
第二张反的，highlight 是保留了，但是shadow 和mid tone contrast 不够，感觉有
点flat
第三张第四张shadow boost 好像太多了点，黑色不够黑，highlight 部位clip 的更多
，和C1相比感觉稍微有一点点过曝。 |

你只需要搞清楚一个事情：基本和曲线里的两个Highlights和Shadows不是一回事，不
知道Lighroom为什么会这样乱用名字。
基本：
Highlights - 比较亮的区域
Shadows - 比较暗的区域
曲线：
Highlights - 最亮的区域
Shadows - 最暗的区域
LR把最常用的放在最上面，结果基本面板里面的次序和光线亮度的递减不一致，非常的
乱套，我早上要是咖啡没喝够就会搞乱。又一个逻辑感极差的体现。
这篇英文文章里面只有一个真正有意义的结论：调Whites的效果不如调曲线里面的
Highlights。当然还有调曝光会压缩高亮区，这个很显然的东西，作者没必要花大量的
时间和篇幅。其它方面那个中文教程里都讲了，而且讲的非常好。
基本面板里是LR的工程师们为你修照片，我不太相信他们的“智能”。曲线是一个直截
了当的工具，完全由你自己来掌控。 |

4s by zooming in and comparing the shadows? You are being incoherent man. I
was looking at the whole picture and pointing out that where the s95 gains
in shadows, it loses in highlights, suggesting an overall dynamic range that
's not significantly wider than the 4s'.
If you don't agree that the best camera is the one that's with you, are you
suggesting the opposite?

offer。如果不出意外的话，我可能就从了。虽然还在等另外一家投行的offer，不过我
觉得可能没戏了，咨询公司也只给了我两周来考虑是否接受offer。抽个空在这里总结一
下这些年的经验教训，给版上想转行的朋友们一个借鉴吧。
我在美国读完博士以后，当时对science还是有兴趣，但是对于学术界的“钱”途，竞
争和压力却是非常担忧。当时自己所在的学校不是什么牛校，信息比较闭塞，那时候根
本不知道还有咨询，金融，medical writing，medical liaison, program management
这些路可以走。我所知道的几条路就是如下几条路：
1. 做博后，然后争取找个AP的职位
2. 读个CS或者Biostats的master，然后找个工作
3. 去读JD，MBA或者MD，然后将来做律师，从商或者做医生
4. 去药厂做R&D
这几种选择，从我身边的朋友中都能找出成功的例子。但是每个人情况又有很大不同，

大家都知道match现在是越来越难，为了让我们的package更加strong，我和几个打算明
年申请的朋友计划找中介做Externership。问题是可供选择的中介很多，网上对他们的
评价不一，有说好的，也有说不值的。为了有效的利用和共享这些资源，我们想建立一
个数据库。这个数据库将收集那些有良好口碑的医生（中介提供）信息，这样我们可以
shadow这些医生，避开那些差的（如果你有这方面的不愉快经历，并愿意分享的话），

报名时分：临床、实验室、社区服务三大类
但是：
临床不一定，必须Shadowing PA（本人没有，推荐信分别来自MD、Nurse Practitioner
、MPH）
Volunteer 也是很重要的，你可以去社区医院做义工。
也可以自己搜索附近诊所、医院找MD或PA直接上门说明来意（成功率一般20：1）。
另外注意：
GAP也是重要因子，还有一半的要考GRE。
大约一半的申请deadline 在九月，一半在11-12月。

发帖数: 12 | 37 2015年9月入学。最近在看医学院课程安排。看到step1如果过线了只能考一次。。。那
不是压力很大么？请问是否应该现在就应该开始开始准备起来？我本科是在这里上的，
读的分子生物/生化之类的本科，但anatomy之类的本科课没有上过，临床有关的课也没
有上过，什么微生物之类的也没上过。我听说这里的医学院都是上午上课，下午自修。
但是我也听人说自修的时候最好用来作volunteer/research，这样到时候申请住院的时
候加分多一点。这么一来估计开学之后也没多少时间准备step1，再加上还要复习本身
医学院自己课程。请问各位前辈有什么建议？有什么好的书可以现在就开始看起来？
还有一个问题，最近在联系一些医院作shadowing的机会。请问shadowing需要注意一些
什么事情？像我现在这个状况（还没进医学院）最好选择一些什么部门去shadow?

工资怎么算?
另外你确定别人说的是SHADOW么?这个说法很不正规. 一般如果让你跟
带教,老板会说 WORK WITH...FOLLOW WITH...而很少用SHADOW这个词.
这通常是大家开玩笑用的,I WILL BE YOUR SHADOW TODAY.
一般面试之后不给OFFER,但对你有兴趣.老板会让你去参观一下UNIT,
然后可能问几个专业问题.再决定是不是要你. 在参观UNIT的时候会具体
谈工资,周末工资的问题.
你在电话里没问清楚么? 不给工资怎么能去干活,不仅不合理,而且不合法.

发帖数: 2269 | 39 昨天终于敲定了offer，算是我的圣诞礼物吧。
机会：这样的机会很难得。以前有个女的到我们科临时加班做tech，中午吃饭就跟她聊
了，结果发现她是我们system里的research institute的research coordinator。她最
早以前是tech，后来熟人介绍她去做research coordinator。tech只是她额外的收入。
我跟她说了我的情况，我以前申请了几次，都在hr就被拒了或者说职位被取消了，后来
就放弃了。而且HR的申请上说必须有一年的research 经验，我每次都硬者头皮投，希
望我以前在国内的research经验能算上，但都失败告终。我给她留了我的名字，电话和
work email。她说如果有位置会替我操个心的，还要我email我的resume给她。回家后
想了想，这只是客套话，而且我不想把自己的resume发给一个几乎是素不相识的人。所
以我就没有发。
惊喜：上个星期突然收到她的email说有个位置，看我是否感兴趣，并给我她的manager
的联系方式。我当天立即send resume。

发帖数: 186 | 40 大家都说PA学校难申，我们学校所有pre-health的学生都大杂烩在一起上先修课，虽然
我自己不是申请PA，但是我好几个申请PA学校的朋友他们都是。。。pre-health学生里
成绩比较差的。我现在shadow一个皮肤科医生，她的诊所里有好几个PA，有一个正好是
我同学（去了才发现她也在那里）。她是个啥水平呢，就拿有机化学来说吧，我刚去的
时候正在修有机化学，她当年也是修的同一个教授。我天，我就听她叨叨叨说那个
教授多难有机多难，她还drop掉一次因为太难了。结果我道多难呢，轻轻松松拿俩A，
教授给俺写推荐信说我是top 1。真不是我多牛，在咱中国孩子里我也就是个平均值。
关键是这些美国娃太菜了。就她这样的（虽然是个白人吧）也上了PA学校还进了皮肤科
，还有从我其他正在奋斗进PA学校的同学的水平来看，我实在是没办法把PA学校想的有
那么难进。
楼主你是千军万马能考board的人，我真的觉得一个小小PA学校难不倒你的。你的成绩
口语什么的肯定都不是问题，主要是一些课外经验。PA学校很看重你有没有

be a photo filter in PS. Also noticed the contrast between light area and
shadow is dialed down quite a bit.
The 2nd one, looks light a daylight shot, but the sky is purple, again the
normal high contrast area between highlight and shadow is dialed down. there
are more details in shadow than what we can normally see white blowing out
highlight. |
