成就了一片天地。我大概扫了一眼，看到了 Geomagic, 隐约感觉这个名字有点眼熟，就
google了一下。。 于是思绪被带回了10几年前.
那时我刚美国，做的方向是计算几何，这个领域虽然不如数学界那么多神人，但也颇有
几个传奇。Michael Shamos算一个，single-handedly开创的多个方向，博士论文
发表成书，到现在仍然是最畅销的课本。 另外一个就是UIUC的Herbert Edelsbrunner。
Edelsbrunner是奥地利人（但我很长时间先入为主的认为他是澳大利亚人），24拿了
博士，２５岁提出了著名的alpha shape,然后被挖到了UIUC。之后他招了一个很牛的
学生， Ernst Mücke，用了5年时间把的alpha shape实现成软件。Mucke 博士

从第一推动力角度，reveal 和 shape 并不是对等的。。。reveal 是切切实实的第一
推动力，而 shape 永远不会是第一推动力。
但是从弗洛伊德鸡汤学角度看，在人类自然语言存在固有的模糊性和不精确性的情况
下，对于一个特定的 individual，如果特别在意在 reveal 的后面加上 shape 这个
辅助词，到达一种不可抑制地加上 shape 这个辅助词的冲动的情况，这是不是 reveal
了该 individual 的内心深处，存在一种该 individual 自己无法意识到的对娃娃的
control freak 倾向？。。。当然，从另一个角度说，其实人人都是 control freak，
或多或少的差别。。。还是那句话，这世上没有永远的正确，但是存在永远的零蛋，
或多或少。。。
当然，如果是从认知学研究的角度，另说。。。科学本身就是 control freak 的一种，
尼玛牛鼻顿想用一根杠杆撬动地球，特么连地球也要 control 一下不是？ |

刚才LD给我看 the economist 上的一篇文章, 说里面有个中国女人很牛，自我打拼，
成就了一片天地。我大概扫了一眼，看到了 Geomagic, 隐约感觉这个名字有点眼熟，就
google了一下。。 于是思绪被带回了10几年前.
那时我刚美国，做的方向是计算几何，这个领域虽然不如数学界那么多神人，但也颇有
几个传奇。Michael Shamos算一个，single-handedly开创的多个方向，博士论文
发表成书，到现在仍然是最畅销的课本。 另外一个就是UIUC的Herbert Edelsbrunner。
Edelsbrunner是奥地利人（但我很长时间先入为主的认为他是澳大利亚人），24拿了
博士，２５岁提出了著名的alpha shape,然后被挖到了UIUC。之后他招了一个很牛的

发帖数: 4434 | 49 完全是胡说八道，我可以负责任的告诉你
1. 没有任何种族的智商分布是u-shape的，都是bell-shape，不过中间位和扁平形状不
一样。
2. 智商跟成就基本是0相关。智商是一套成型的测量工具得出来的几个数值，根本无法
预测变幻莫测的人和变幻莫测的世界。整天说中国人智商高，就好像在吹嘘我们中国国
家足球队的身高亚洲第一。
3. 所谓的白人高智商人多完全是扯淡。白人是成就比中国人高，不是智商高。
4. 哪怕是成就的分布，白人世界也是u-shape的，不过他们的中轴更靠右，最右端延展
更远
5. 不是智商分布影响教育，是教育影响成就分布，完全跟智商没关系。当然，还有很
多其他因素，比如历史，社会，环境等。
7. 说个最基本的统计概念，标准正态分布是无干涉自然状态下会产生的分布，两边对
称的bell-shape，如果有重要因素受到干扰，比如教育因素受干扰（e.g. 国家有优秀
的教育政策）后的成就分布，分布就会变偏态，基本还是个bell-shape，但歪歪的不对
称。评价因素是否有好的影响，就是看分布歪的厉害不，不是分布变u型。
