开春了, 我说带娃去看鲸鱼吧. 娃说鲸鱼so big, so frightening.
我随口说了一句very few whales eating ppl, sharks eat a lot more ppl than
whales.
娃们忽然就很愤怒, 冲我说human eat more sharks than sharks eat human. sharks
r so innocent blah blah.
我真是无言以对, 我一直以来对白人对食肉动物的特殊情感难以理解, 无论是北极熊,
还是大鲨鱼. 我左看右看横看竖看都看不出任何大鲨鱼可爱的地方.
我只好跟娃们说, 以他们的标准, 这个世界上没有任何动物eat more human than
human eat them. 所以所有的动物都是innocent的. 从今天起, 连吃三天素.

三条船到14:30都limit out或接近，扔掉小鱼和Canary无数。
鱼种很多,black/blue/tree/kelp/copper/b&y/vermillion/shark/octupus ...etc
今年vermillion/canary似乎比去年多，fishiman2007一个人就上了2条大vermillion
新人rabbit1978神勇，上了唯一一条shark;gghym的船把一条几吨重的shark放跑了，实
在可惜...
早上8点下的水，偏晚，刚开始很slow;12点左右有两波小高潮，基本就靠那limit out
了;全天大部分阴天，1:00PM左右大雾弥漫，伸手不见黑夜的五指，大家都怕回不了家.
..
全天浪还是有点大，不少人晕了吐了。
今年渔警很变态，第一次钓就被查，俩警察一老一新，新的很多事，看到不认识的就仔
细查。偶们船有条小kelp他不认得，幸亏老警察认得. N95那条船的shark给拿回船仔细
查，偶们还以为开罚单了(看到他们拿本子了)，担心的不行，也很纳闷(应该是够size

Today, I went to Joy Sun Lau have Zao3Cha2,
The service is good, but there seems fewer choice for food
than MZG, and I order a Shark Fin Dumpling 鱼翅饺, as the name,
the waiter said it have "Shark Fin" in it.
Even though it is three times bigger than ususal dumplings
when I eat it, it is just small shrimp plus pork!
If there were any Shark Fin, it were so tiny that I must use
magnifier to see them!

factor, so there's no need to ban those practices. On the other hand,
killing shark for the fin by itself is enough to threaten Shark specie's
long term survival, that's why it's banned.

前两天大家和我开玩笑说，希望KEY WEST的暴风雨更多些，这样大家伙儿有更
多的时间在网上交流，也能看到我更多胡侃乱侃的文字。
自从上周五在后院航道里钓到一条BULL SHARK后，俺喜忧交加，乐的是这台风
季节干脆就在自家后院钓好了，喝着冰镇啤酒，再弄把躺椅，找个舒服的姿势一躺，哎
！啊Q精神立刻焕发全身，还是那句老话，这日子，给个副省长咱也是不干的！忧的是
BULL SHARK是出了名的恶，比大白鲨对人的威胁还要大，每年全世界游泳潜水被鲨鱼攻
击的事儿大部分都是BULL SHARK干的。现在正是龙虾季节，以前俺就在后院CANAL里逍
遥自在的潜水抓龙虾，这以后再下水后脑勺得再长两只眼睛了。虽然俺邻居大大咧咧的
说，屁事没有，你不惹他，他不惹你！
真再下水，俺这心还是拔凉拔凉的！
今天还是老法子，挂条活鱼，栓上气球，挂上俺的幸运铃铛（钓鱼铃铛，还是俺
当年从新加坡万里迢迢买回来的，上鱼后会叮叮当当的响，俺的目的是搞那条大石斑鱼
，潜水抓龙虾时发现的，这厮竟然近在咫尺，上次那个大 |

渔情一点都不凑活，钓了三四个小时，只有几个小Bite，一条鱼都没上。试了Grub，
Tube， Crappie Magnet，
Senko，Popper 和Live Minnow。连Minnow都没咬的。
收获：看了不少美丽秋景，试了新的iPhone4的照相能力，看到几个春天可能的Crappie
窝，遇到久仰大名的Beef大

一下我常去的几个海域之一吧，版上XD们在计划fishing vacation时，也能有个参考。
今天给大家介绍Stellwagen bank。参照版规，基于对钓点的保护，具体的GPS坐标就不
公开了。
Stellwagen Bank是Gulf of Maine 深海钓的主要去处之一，在东海岸，stellwagen
bank简直就成了cod 的代名词。实打实的说，stellwagen bank大概是世上钓cod的最好
去处。除了cod，这片海域还盛产haddock，pollock，cusk这些“meat fish”。
Bluefin tuna是这里的常客，每年六月初到十月底，几乎每天都有幸运的钓客得以体验
奋战金枪鱼的激动和tuna sashimi的美味。Blue shark，porbeagle shark，mako
shark也是这里gamefish的重要组成部分。对于旅游者来说，Stellwagen Bank也是出海
看鲸鱼的最好去处之一。对于我等渔民，钓鱼的时候来个free whale show是经常的事... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 1443 | 25 去年岁末散心之旅，两次hook up porbeagle shark， 可惜都没能擒获。痛定思痛，决
定把钓鲨鱼作为今年的目标之一。从三月开始计划， 今天终于实施。三人的charter，
offshore 40 mile，从stellwagen bank 东南角drift到peaked hill bar，最终到大陆
架drop off，水深730尺。三个人共hook up 16条blue shark，擒获然后放生12 条。最
大的一条9.5 尺，最小的一条6 尺。按NOAA的估算，9尺的blue shark大约300 lb。我
拉上来4条，一条9尺，两条8尺，一条7尺左右。
先上照片，具体经过明天再慢慢和大家分享。今天是筋疲力尽了，码不动字了。早上2
：30起床，5点出海，奋战一整天，在酷暑烈日之下出大力流大汗，虽然喝了近3 liter
的水，还是觉得体力消耗的厉害。人老了。。。 |

发帖数: 1443 | 26 看看depth finder，水深380 feet，还好，不是太深。jig入水，我吃了一惊，好强的
水流。满月加上incoming tide，tide的方向和船漂移的方向相反，水流非常急，9 oz
的jig很难感觉到底。等jig 到底，我开始jigging， 马上就上鱼了，感觉不大，拉上
来一看，5-6 lb左右的cusk，Rich和Roy说正好拿来做bait，live line 在30 尺水深左
右。 水流急对钓鲨鱼有利，因为水流可以把chum的味道带到更远的地方，吸引更多的
鲨鱼，但是对deep bottom jigging不利，增加技术难度。 我让Rich把船上最重的jig
给我，18 oz的Norweigian jig。即使这样，在cast以后，沉底，也只能jig 5， 6 下
，线就飘得非常斜了，jig 悬空，放线， 沉底，jig， 又悬空，收回，再cast。400
尺的水深，18 oz的jig反复这么搞太累了，我还是省点力气等着斗鲨鱼吧，反正我已经
钓到baitfish了，等一会儿slack tide水流不那么急了再来jigging ground fish。于

发帖数: 5839 | 27 十一月芝城的天已经冷了，怕岳父母没啥地方溜达闷得慌，就去佛州溜达了两个星期。
带着老人的旅行不比自己。吃要按点儿吃，睡要按点睡，风大了会吹着，太阳大了会晒
着，海水太凉了会冻着，带了个电水壶，一个炮弹保温瓶到哪里都拎着，不够喝了就买
两杯咖啡顺便要热水。就是这样老人还是玩得很辛苦，毕竟岁数大了，回家的那天高兴
极了。可对我来说，这是最轻松的一次旅行，不用早起也不许晚睡，开一会儿车，吃三
顿饭，咔嚓几张照片，一睁眼一闭眼，一天就过去了。痛痛快快钓鱼就别想了，老爷子
有兴致陪着钓两下就是了。
11月3
清早来到了sea world orlando，太早了，火烈鸟基本都没睡醒，
我对这地方太熟了，所以有点bore，其实常驻这里活着的生灵都挺bore的，除了来去自
由的鸟。
有的白鸟风度翩翩，有的见了吃了就那样，为抢吃的就呢样，真是有伤风雅。
更可怜的是那些缸里的水母，他们估计连啥是bore都不知道
能让我开心的是那个摸ray的池子，照着ray又肥又软又厚实的鱼翅一把把摸过去，比拍
西瓜过瘾多了，实在啊，肉欲极大的满足。

对美国夫妻的，结果那个美国男生早上临时变卦不来了，Pablo就有点不高兴；钱是小
事，白白浪费了一个名额，还有人在waitlist上眼巴巴等着呢。
第一个tank在Tackle Box，感恩节假期到了，今天有20多个人去Blue Hole，潜水电脑
和比较新的装备都先供应他们了，我分到了一个挺旧的BCD，也没电脑了:-( 所以今天
的数据都是管Pablo要的，不是很准确。最深80ft，水下时间50min。地形跟昨天的很像
，觉得近海的这些堡礁形状都类似，都是一条条的小山脉，

then one brazilian guy went crazy in a few hands, and got busted by a pro (

entrance离Homestead不远，就在Homestead订了前一天晚上的HOTEL。后来翻了翻精华
区，从
Homestead往南走main park rd可以一直到flamingo，而往西北走41号路有另外两个
entrance，可以到Shark Valley。这三个entrance彼此都不通就是说只能去一个。
在这个季节，到底是Shark Valley那边好玩还是Flamingo那边好玩呢？据说Shark
Valley那里鳄
鱼会多一些？望达人介绍下细节 多谢！ |

发帖数: 792 | 34 anhinga trail的确是everglades的精华，但是如果主要目的想看wildlife，shark
valley入口附近因为edge effect，是整个everglades里鳄鱼和鸟类最密集的地方，尤其是鸟的品种，是anhinga trail的二到三倍。
不过我推荐shark valley主要是因为离市区近，耗时少，适合日程匆忙的人。反而如果时间多深入shark valley，比如坐tram，反而看不到什么wildlife。sharkvalley自行车或者ten thousand islands和flamingo附近canoe一般适合有时间休闲游的人 |

，觉得近海的这些堡礁形状都类似，都是一条条的小山脉，
不像远海，山都连成片了。看到了一只海龟半个身子从洞里探出来，我凑过去看，估计
凑太近了，海龟猛的从洞里蹿出来，
很快的穿过山涧，向上游走了。
看到了grouper，还有许多花纹各异的个头都不小的鱼。
有一颗珊瑚边上聚了一群黄、白色的鱼，
发现两种鱼特别喜欢群居，除了这种黄、白色的，

BBQ at st regis
bora bora的海的确很美，lagoon也很大。有一处地方从岸边走到海中很远，深度都只
有齐腰深。我们选择了上午safari jeep，下午300米parasailing。 bora bora山不高
，在山上有个大炮，是二战美军留下的。 大溪地有非常著名的黑珍珠，不过价格也不
便宜。我们去了一个当地人开的店。卖了4个，也花了1000多刀。下午parasailing，没
啥可怕，就是我好像有点晕。中间某点差点吐了....
第五日，我们刚刚认识的当地朋友邀请我们免费去fish and shark feeding。shark都
是不吃人的，我追着他们后面拍了好多视频。feeding都是要snorkleing的，他们会提
供的。 当天是感恩节，我们和刚刚认识的澳大利亚朋友定了st regis的BBQ。难吃死贵
，都是法式烧烤，还不如德州排骨呢。 |

Assiniboine省立公园的核心区域不通公路，想进去一般有三种方法：一是从Sunshine
Village步行进入，单程26公里，因为要凑早上的班车时刻、不能太早出发，绝大多数
人都需要在路上过一夜，第二天午后进入核心区；二是从Mt. Shark步行进入，单程23
公里，大部分人可以在一天内完成；三是坐直升飞机，从Canmore或是Mt. Shark出发，
十分钟左右直抵位于核心区中央的木屋旅馆。考虑到时间比较紧；两条进去的路线，沿
路都没有太多风景、却有熊出没，最后决定还是双飞了，也多留点时间在核心区域里走
走看看。
早上在露易丝湖营地睡到自然醒，收拾好东西，晃到位于Canmore的直升飞机公司时，
离预定的10点45分的起飞时间还有一段距离；在屋外找了张椅子坐着晒太阳，看停机坪
上的几架直升飞机不停的起飞、降落、加油、再起飞——往Assiniboine运送游客只是
这家公司的副业，主业是直升飞机观光，游客是络绎不绝。

前两天大家和我开玩笑说，希望KEY WEST的暴风雨更多些，这样大家伙儿有更
多的时间在网上交流，也能看到我更多胡侃乱侃的文字。
自从上周五在后院航道里钓到一条BULL SHARK后，俺喜忧交加，乐的是这台风
季节干脆就在自家后院钓好了，喝着冰镇啤酒，再弄把躺椅，找个舒服的姿势一躺，哎
！啊Q精神立刻焕发全身，还是那句老话，这日子，给个副省长咱也是不干的！忧的是
BULL SHARK是出了名的恶，比大白鲨对人的威胁还要大，每年全世界游泳潜水被鲨鱼攻
击的事儿大部分都是BULL SHARK干的。现在正是龙虾季节，以前俺就在后院CANAL里逍
遥自在的潜水抓龙虾，这以后再下水后脑勺得再长两只眼睛了。虽然俺邻居大大咧咧的
说，屁事没有，你不惹 |
