昨天（11月2日）举行的美国中期选举（国会改选），被世界媒体瞩目，因它对美国未
来的政治走向具有相当大的意义。而且事先民调就预示，众议院将翻盘，共和党成为赢
家。
在435席的众议院，共和党从原来的179席将增至243席（民主党从原来的256席降至192
席）。共和党原只要赢39席，就超过半数，成为多数党；现则赢了64席！
这是过去68年来，共和党获得的最大胜利！1942年，在民主党罗斯福总统执政时，那次
的国会选举，共和党一举赢得55席，获压倒性胜利。
1994年，在民主党克林顿当总统时的中期选举中，共和党夺回参众两院，在众议院赢了
54个席位。
这次共和党赢得64个席位，超过前两次的胜利，再创历史！共和党籍的前众议院议长金
瑞契对福克斯电视说，这是自1932年以来，美国从没有过的政治景观！
在100席的参议院∶这次有37席改选。共和党从原来的41席，增至47席。民主党则从原
来的59席，降至53席。但共和党没有成为多数党。
