MA.
Very good community and school system. They are not well known in the
Chinese community because there are not so many Chinese in those two towns.
There are many Chinese Moved into those two towns in the past few years.
More and more are coming. :-)
If you are interested in finding house in those two towns, please contact me
. I know them well and have many connections with real estate agents in the
two towns. |

发帖数: 828 | 4 学区跟acton相比怎么样？有位老兄以前发文说acton一年有十几个去havard和MIT的。
不知道是不是太夸大了。sherborn有没有，有几个不好说，但肯定是没有这么多。另外
sherborn的位置有些差。27和16特别堵。前面有人说Westwood的交通好，但走过109，
一个红绿灯前得停几下才过得去。总得感觉就没有上下班特别方便的TOWN。Weston，
newton和Wellesley的地理位置要好些，但是newton和Wellesley的LOCAL交通就很忙。
Weston看你住那边，要是也走20，也会经常堵得你无可奈何。 |

if the job is in boston, I wouldn't bother acton or sherborn. I will waste
a good part of my life on the road.
look at brookline, newton; or wellsley/needham if you don't mind spending
another 10 minutes oneway. If you work in cambridge, look into winchester
and lexington. both are solid towns.
I wouldn't look at westwood either, not in the same tier as the towns

说到social economical class的定义，我记得upper middle 一般指收入要到做得不错
的医生律师的层次，一年要度假N次之类（具体几次忘了）。然后能称到是wealthy的一
般是家族里有old money传下来的，或自己有实业，至少这一年多少多少万的inflow
cash是很stable, sustainable的。

Its enrollment is less than one third of Acton high. The teacher/student
ratio is also extremely low.
Don't underestimate the power of $. Being wealthy is still significantly
different from being in upper middle class. At least last time I checked. |

Sherborn/Dover的学生数量少，你不能比绝对数。
Westwood，你如果不介意小学，可以住在95边上的Downey。
Weston南边进城方便些，可以抄小道上Pike，或者去Wellesley Farm坐火车。
北边要靠Commute Rail。 |

Westwood 是很好的区，但是靠近 Norwood 那边的地方，会稍微差一些。
Westwood 的旁边 Dover 区更好一些，但是交通不是特方便。
Medfield 也很好。
Sharon 也是很好学区，中国人也很多，房子比Westwood便宜一些。
在去年公布在 Boston Magazine 上的学区排行。
Dover-Sherborn 是第1名
Sharon 是第10名
westwood 是第14名
Medfield 是第17名 |
