这个也是第二次去，上次在未来世界耗的时间太多，World Showcase那一片才玩了一半
。这次是9点开门就进去，赶紧去拿fast pass,还跳过了两个地方，就这样从未来世界
里出来也差不多1点了，没有fast pass的地方排队每个地方都要半小时左右。我们最喜
欢的是Innovation里面的Segway试用，还有Test Drive那个ride,其他的馆就走马观花
了，Energy那里的ride还中途坏掉了。进门的地方有Disney的经典人物可以合影，只是
没有Magic Kingdom那么多。
特别提醒一下，那个Mission：Mars模拟飞船发射的比较晕，有motion sickness的还是
不要尝试比较好，出口坐满了休息的人，要好一阵才能恢复。
World Showcase有很多小型表演值得看，每个国家都有一个，时间 |

发帖数: 878 | 19 第二天，powder蓝鸟日！前几天因连续暴雪上半山一直关闭，突然来个了大晴天，可以
想见powder之好。我把闺女抛给LD，带儿子行动，八点半钟上lift已经有人滑下来了，
可见估计八点就开门迎接早鸟儿们了。上Rendezvous，下wishbone去glacier快车。上
去右转等showcase的T-bar，这个以前从来没有上过只在录像里看过，站直了把T型棍放
在屁股后面托着不能坐。下来右边比较原始的powder，不敢走太快不过也有点儿雪上飞
的感觉了。回showcase再上，跟着大部队hike上blackcomb glacier，儿子的新板子大
而沉，差悬没把他累死。他直接下了bowl，我横转到back country的入口，看见有人排
队之字形skin上山顶，牛啊。从bowl里下来几百米宽的蓝道基本已经被滑成半junk态，
不敢使劲冲还前扑摔了一次，幸好雪迹清晰很容易就挖出雪板。出山谷冲了下还是不免
走了一长段，然后巨长无比的缓坡雪道回到excelarator，路非常好走但没啥风景，儿
子觉得boring。

有这3样随便哪个学校都得睁大眼。尤其是总统奖，全国总共100多个，她的学校又是学
费3万多，一届只有80个学生的私塾，本来就是冲着ivy去的，
而ivy并没有体育生，或者说像体育强校一样，先找教练，然后教练搞定录取。足球对
这个牛丫头来说没多大帮助。
最后，高中足球跟club soccer 不能相提并论，因为高中人数有限，大多按地区划分，
所以优秀选手难以集中，而容易冒尖，而且高中校队训练比赛不系统，每年只有几个月
。与半职业化的academy/ECNL不能同日而语。大学教练也只去那些精英俱乐部及其
showcase，一般俱乐部想参加那些showcase都没门。另外就是ODP，PDP等等层层选拔机
制，如果你resume上有这种经历，等于告诉大学教练很多人早就已经看中你了。Song
MM 没有值得一提的俱乐部经历，最有含金量的是first team All-Ohio Division II

Of course desktop client has higher quality, but you can't run
it without installation, or if at all on linux, mac, or any mobile
platform including windows mobile, how is that? Gmail runs even
for low end cellphone. You receive update from time to time for outlook fix
gmail doesn't do that.
If you want, compare outlook web access to gmail, OWA is a joke.

按照地理位置搜索。不过7月份时候很多Program都刚开始，所以他们的信息都还没有跟
新。不过你可以开始考虑。我问了我的preceptors帮我挑选，哪里好之类的。有些
Program要supplemental essay，你可以开始准备了。
8月份：我已经开始update CV, draft letter of intent。网上有很多资料的，多搜搜
。Intent最后是10月底写完的。写完之后要给多个人review，提意见。我review过的CV
拿到midyear依然有typo，杯具啊。。。
11月份：ask for letter of recommendations。问的时候顺便把CV, letter of
intent一同交给references，让他们可以有东西可以写。
12月份：去midyear之前要确定哪些program你要去咨询，showcase地图打出来，
highlight好Program的位置和时间。准备好问题，打印在纸上，带上notebook就可以进

非是竞争激烈的大program，你之前套过瓷了，去了见个面增强一下印象，不然效果不
大。showcase 人好多，人挤人，闹哄哄，讲话都要喊着讲，学生们大部分去了就是旅
游，party了。找工作的话 pps 据说位置不是很多，还要额外交钱才能去。而且大部份
是为了PGY2的面试。
如果你是为了全国各地找工作那去看看pps 也可以。local 找工作，或者residency 我
觉得不用去 midyear 也可以。 |
