by control joint behind the stucco, or lack of a control joint at the

lasso的 k fold可以拿来决定shrinkage，一般不用来选variable。因为每个fold选的
variable都不一样，你怎么知道那个留，哪个不留？如果你想用lasso，可以这样做：
1) 合并sample 1和2，这样你就只有一个大sample，以及一个hold out（原来的sample
3）
2）用第一步的大sample做k fold，看out of sample error，用来选 lasso的
shrinkage
2）用第一步的大sample全部data做一遍lasso，剩下的variable留下。
以上过程是你的training过程。
3）用第二步的结果用在sample 3（hold out）上，看 prediction，或者benchmarking
。我不知到你说的分布是怎么意思，是不是你bootstrap了？如果是，那么是有问题的。 |

1. 房子里面以前做过radon test结果是yes。 然后2005年装了active mitigation
system.
2. basement里面没有sump pump, 不过disclosure form 里面说没有漏水的问题
3. disclosure form 上面写有small shrinkage cracks in basement floor

是该加了？
买的房子地下室没装修， 可以看到poured concrete墙上内侧有好几条纵向裂纹，可能
是settlement,或者shrinkage的，inspection report上说没发现渗水痕迹，但是将来
可能渗水，可以seal,不知道这个是为了不要担责任的多余话，还是这种裂缝的渗水几
率很大，房后5，6米有坡，不过不是正对，不懂为什么房主和agent都说这个坡没问题
，他们从来没漏水的问题。 |

1.在local的craigslist上找土，很多人会免费给你土，只是你自己要有车来拉。
2.填的过程中要适当的撒点水（不能太多，也不能太少，具体就是你一把抓下去土刚刚
能沾合在一起，但又不至于太水），让土有点粘合，并且用whacker夯实，whacker在HD
应该有租吧。（不这样做，下次有雨水来就会把新填的土冲刷掉，常年累月就会形成新
的坑）
3.注意新的平地整体的slope要斜向于你希望水流出去的方向。（通常cross slope is
1%)
这些只是说storm run off是sheer，如果不是，你要看storm water的pattern，顺着水
流经的地方做个Rip Rap channel。
另外，你需要大概25CY的土（包含10%shrinkage)，差不多31吨土，一般的end dump满
载22吨，需要两车，在俺们这个农村运费（contractor's price)计价是$82/hr，而且
