3. press shift key when you click restore in iTunes
4. follow instructions on screen to restore with the downloaded firmware 4.0

2. start tss server with tiny umbrella
3. download iphone 4 4.1 firmware directly from apple.
4. open itunes and shift_restore (while tss server is running)
5. restore will faile.
6. click on "kick device out of recovery mode" to bring the device out of
recovery.
7. download limera1n or greenpoison to jail break.
8. download ultrasnow to unlock (via cydia).
