Two starts ago, he pitched a shutout to the 9th inning, and was removed
with two outs.
This game, last strike, he lost a CGSO.
If he had these two CGSOs, CY would definitely be his to lose. Last time
a pitcher has 7 CGSO in a season was 1989. He probably is stuck at 6 this
year. |

rbi, hr...all start from 0 again...so players feel refreshed, like a second
life. plus, you have 2 pitchers who are capable of having complete shutouts
in the playoffs, so nothing to worry if I were you.
You want to have the revenge from last WS loss, don't you? I hope you get
the chance to do it, hoho.

Now, Phillies losing streak has reached 8. I am very concerned. If anything,
this reminds a Phillies phan of 1964, when Phillies had a 6 1/2 lead with
12 games to play yet managed to have a colossal collapse and not to make
the playoffs. Another example was 2007 collapse of Mets. When losing
becomes regular, it is difficult to recover no matter how good the team
is.

My little son (10 yrs) used to play soccer (he still does), but he joined
little league this year under the influence of his big brother (12 yrs), who
has played baseball for 5th year and still going.
Today they played a playoff game for the season. They lost their previous
one and are facing elimination (double elimination format).
In the top of 1st, he played 1st base, and caught a sharp liner to end the
inning, leaving a couple of runners on base.

冬天换来了Miguel Cabrera（25岁），06WS的班底还在，开季前被ESPN捧为可进WS（对
决响尾蛇），结果七连败,前12场2-10开局，一直没缓过来。
2011红袜也是如此，那大概是我见过的唯一一年ESPN开季捧红袜。
今年好像捧的就是Nationals和Angels（也许是Blue Jays，但是第二第三应该就是这两
队，并说Nationals会赢）
这几年冬天做了大买卖又能马上夺冠的大概就是2009 Yankees了吧，买入Teixeira立竿
见影
ps:这是两年前一篇恶搞文，每年WS之后都要拿出来回味一下，2034年的冠军上海运动

加拿大先发投了五局shutout
这不奇怪，因为南卡的ace，今天投了no-hitter，而且八天前才刚投了一个no-no
加拿大这位比较神的是他五局K了16个打者
也就是说每个out都是K，还有其中一局K了四个人
最后一局（第六局）由于投球数的限制，没再上场
结果墨西哥就在这一局一个walkoff single 1-0赢了比赛。。。

就试试吧。
首先，伊力特会被狮鹫防守shut down，能把发空进攻shutout半场的防守搞定乌鸦进攻
是完全可以胜任的，不管是地面还是空中。个人觉得发空今年的进攻比乌鸦要犀利多了。
当然卡破奶也别想在乌鸦防守那里讨得便宜，一个粗糙的运动型QB在乌鸦经验老道的防
守面前会现原型。
这会是一个low scoring game, 十几比十几那种，最后由狮鹫的power run game 耗死
年迈的乌鸦防守。目前还没看到那个队能真正防死狮鹫的running game . |
