I have a question regarding auto-iso and flash setting that is really
frustrating. Hope someone here can shed some light.
Basically I was shooting kids pictures in door. Nikon seems to auto-choose
too low iso value while firing ok amount of flash. This causes ambient
background too dim, giving a deer in headlight wash out feeling. I can't
bounce the flash because the ceiling is too high(in a gym). Here is a

There are many ways to further reduce power, just to name a few:
1) move flash away from your subject
2) put doom diffuser on (it eats about 1-stop of light), put flash in widest
zoom
3) put ND gel on your flash
4) use ND filter on your lens, may need to reduce shutter speed if you want
to maitain ambient exposure while mixing ambinet & flash

Im not impressed
it's hard to get clear and sharp shots even with super fast lens (dim light)
shutter is dead loud, def louder than d700
ergonomic is no good, i have thumbsup but it still doesn't feel right.
shutter buffer is so damn retarded... feels like using p&s sometimes
focusing patch flares...annoying in complex light source
good thing is i can convert all my lenses onto the m8 now. Everything works.
Feeling is mixed.

我用的是NTE 3034A）， 先把这俩个对准， 再把镜头/快门放在中间，调好高度。 录

. 我测得是一个很老的快门 Compur P shutter， 1/500 秒都不能用了，其他的速度
基本没问题，所以感觉老的机械快门基本上很准， 不测都行。

silent mode就是说liveview下，摁快门以后，shutter不合上，电路reset，然后拍照。
据说是5D2和50D的一大改进，1Ds3上没有。
那如果不用带chip的接环，并且快门速度很快，可能reset不完全，shutter就已经重新

Even with less points, we still have some more challenges. For instance,
shutter speed. Say, if we want 1/200 for shooting a picture, if we have 100
points along the axial direction. What is the shutter speed for each of

- answer 1: 1/20000. This is really fast. It incurs new requirements on
the system, e.g. dynamic range, etc.

not using a shutter release to "select" your focus point.
You can try this to make sure you have pre-selected a focus point.
No matter where you point your camera, there is alway one and the same one

Continuous shooting? 要多少FPS以上?
Sensor size, pixel size? 相差10%几的在25左右,差别有多大? SD880在室内照画质很
差(灯光,无闪),换这些神器后能好多少?
还要看啥参数?
我的要求不高,按priority分:
1,要能照清楚娃的suddent move,
2,要有Movie功能.
3,要小巧,轻便.
4,要画质越好越好.
5,不要太贵,不要升级,对摄影没兴趣,就要照娃.

不同的是,1D可以随便用更快的shutter speed,及其他任何功能.
被照物是: 室内有限光线下的,小孩/小狗,或是任何在做随机快速动作的东东.
问题: 如果SD880拍出来的是模糊的--例如:小狗在摇尾巴,照片上所有物体都清楚,只有

YN comes with shutter cable, and I can afford 6
for playing multiple flashes. For multiple flashes,

2.EOS 5D Mark II使用此软件时，快门数不能实时更新，也就是说如果连接电脑后按下

3.即使从未将CF卡上照片序号归零，由于连接电脑拍摄和Live View拍摄次数也被计入
快门次数中，所以测出的次数可能会比CF卡上的序号的要多一些。
