两孩子在一个学校，不一个姓都不知是sibling。你想孩子跟他们同学解释他们有same
爸爸是亲兄弟姐妹？
。。。。。。
最近给孩子报一个课外活动，sibling有优惠必须要same last name。完了这优惠你们
还没有。：-） |

sibling之间是不够的，没有sibling就更加要积极地和别人playdate吧。和老美

老二很火爆。我一开
始不适应。但家长必须
要有love kids the way they are的胸怀，哪怕这个娃跟你期待的不一样。家长的认同
对孩子的self esteem影响太大了。。我自己家，我有个sibling多愁善感比较多，我妈
性格爽朗，对我绝对是好家长，对我这个sibling就没有完全接受。。结果时至今日，

的时候讲。举个例子讲孩子多么懂事。一般是阿姨做好饭去接她，昨天我下班早，去接
她没带饭，她说好饿差点要哭。。我说妈妈从上班的地方来所以没有饭如果阿姨来接你
就有好吃的。你要阿姨接，还是妈妈接啊，她说我要妈妈接。然后就不说饿了。真的觉
得孩子其实是很懂事的。他们很爱我们也很懂事。只是我们有的时候自己没有陪孩子，
把太多的stress释放在孩子身上了。比如lz提到妈妈刷牙比宝宝快，其实就是不对的。
我都是先给孩子刷好，孩子自己漱口的时候自己才迅速刷完，lz孩子自己刷，已经是很
乖。妈妈刷完了的确是给宝宝压力的，lz要注意一下是不是平时因为生活很忙，没有掌
握好节奏，也给孩子带来很多stress？
还有lz提到妹妹更乖，这也非常正常，很多家都是这样，因为在没有老二之前，老大就
是小太阳。千万不要把姐妹俩个去比。这个世界没有公平。非要勉强弄成公平，反而会
失衡。sibling rival的事情再多讲两句。老二的出生，对老大来说本来就是很tough的

比如我儿，不需我启蒙，三岁不到学五岁的内容，没人教他，人家自己在幼儿园旁听大
小孩儿就学会了。所以，我已经不敢再教多一点点，怕他觉得上学没意思。但是，情商
部分，还是小孩儿心性，智商情商不匹配。他大部分时间和与他同龄的孩子混在一起，
比起天天在家打打闹闹，分分合合的sibling是无法相比的。比如你们家，姐姐是什么
样的姐姐，妹妹很清楚，同样，姐姐也对妹妹很了解。尽管平时打打闹闹，当碰到困难
时，她们很容易团结在一起一致对外。
同样是sibling，有的姐姐霸道，有的姐姐好说话些，影响因素很多的，比如生来的性
格，父母的引导，孩子间的年龄差距，所以很难一概而论。其实，大部分的父母对老大
付出很多，只是，有些时候，老大并不领情（苦笑），所以难免霸道些，现代的父母也
对他们忍让得多。

下个月，我和我妈妈会在北京一起签证，她签B2，我返签H1B。这样安排是考虑到我妈
妈的个人情况会很难轻松签过，想和她一起携签。我妈妈退休，离异，无房产，白护照
，我是独女。我自己呢，其实签证也很不容易，当年F2签了两次悲剧，第3签和老公一
起签过，来美国后读书转F1，工作转H1B，去年转H1B时，第一次悲剧，第二次才成功。
所以我不是特别确定我和妈妈一起签证是个正确的决定。
看了很多帖子，我反复修改给vo的信，重点强调我妈妈为什么回回国，强调她在国内生
活开心，和她的姐姐哥哥们的好关系，经常local travel，她回国后的旅行计划等，请
大家帮忙看看。
有几个问题：
1，信有点长，但又不知道该删掉什么了
2，没有主动提当年自己赴美的原因和后来的身份转变，也没有主动提我妈妈离异和退
休，虽然里面有说到她每个月有退休工资，不知道是否合适

当贺梅姐弟三人出现了孟菲斯国际机场，当地人在惊呼。尤其是12岁的贺梅。这么大了
，贝克都在惊叹。
贺梅目前的情况：12岁，身高1.4以上，家住在一个漂亮的富人区（带室内与室外游泳
池），就读于重庆某“贵族学校”，三好学生，成绩全A，说流利汉语，汉语语文96分
，数学96.5分，英语就不用说了，在班上名列前茅，多次获奖，会弹钢琴，会打乒乓球
等等，很多课外活动，从来不需要补习功课，在学校有很多朋友，与弟妹关系很好，据
说不少男生喜欢她，她很得意。
整个旅程的费用都是由罗秦支付，购买了来回机票，原定八月底回去，但贺梅说要做暑

doyle park和出门旅游都没大区
别。
另外说到第一代移民的安全感，这个很多有娃的人可能体会更深。
说把娃外包出去，没有那么简单的。
我曾经和另一个妈妈轮流带娃，轮流上课，操作起来困难重重，我娃生病时，不能送对
方家，临时的bb sitter很难找，
如果你不是长期雇佣关系的话，哪能保证随叫随到？另外，有意愿，有时间，常常
available的bb sitter很难，全算上经
济上也是个负担。
我有朋友是有back up的nanny，平时交钱，再加上人情礼品啥的，也不是小的开销。
如果不是长期带，对娃的作息和习惯不了解的，娃送去午觉睡不好，饭吃的不好，回来
闹起来不好带，更有的受了，绝
对超额抵消了二人世界的乐趣。
认识一个护士，她当年是带娃读书的，不过她有半打siblings，轮流帮她带娃，就这样

进来5个老中我很高兴，进来50个老印也可以忍了。但是同时会搭配进来5000个劳模，大家（包括那5个老中）以后的日子就别过了。
而且看对EB3的影响，其实现在是1个老中，2个老印。以后会变成2个老中，10个老印，外加5000劳模。当然对我的好处是，如果我的siblings想办移民就不用等10年排期了。这个法案看来是一定会通过的，所以老中的对策应该是尽量把自己的siblings移民过来。 |

一厢情愿的看法。就像大多数以为爱情是甜蜜的。其实少有甜如蜜的爱情。sibling的
缘分也有善有恶。
很多亲情的表现，已经令人恶心之极了，争遗产，争房子，要钱等等，成年后各种攀比
，各种拆台，虚伪，老死不相往来的也大有人在。手足之情？呵了个呵。
自己独立强大起来，比什么都好，别指望什么人。没有用的。
支持楼主上班，自己的人生尽量自己主宰，哪怕辛苦一些，又算得了什么呢。几年就出
来了。不辛苦痛苦一辈子，辛苦痛苦一整子。
来了10年，也不算从零开始，只是专业上面需要调整一下。清零是每个人都该意识到的
。从一个新的起点开始，重新体验一段生活，也蛮好的。
