/看牙/配眼镜又不能算sick leave，看看年底了，sick leave才用了10个小时，想赶在
过节期间一周泡一天的病假，结果同事说小心这种和节日休假一起用的sick leave，HR
会找麻烦的。敢情sick leave就是照顾那些老弱病残的员工的，对不生病的员工就是没
用的福利。

不一定，我以前的公司，美国的DOW30之一，非油企。
新员工刚开始工作就有2周的sick leave，以后每满一年工龄，多一周的sick leave，
工龄长的人最多可以每年26周的sick leave，很夸张。我知道好几个人动了大手术，家

刚进公司的时候用莫须有的“公司政策”扣掉了我半年的年假（前半年不允许休，但不
是说没有），也不折钱
而且对于公司有paid sick leave和paid personal day只字不提
但是根据他的休假情况，肯定是自己都休了的
我也是到了年底别人告诉我才知道这个paid sick leave
我决定利用这个paid sick leave和paid personal day＋圣诞回国，但是现在还有没有
通知老板，
我看公司的政策，一般paid sick leave不用特殊处理，但是保留要求病假条的权利
大家看看用什么理由比较合适（回国弄个病假条还是比较容易的）

说起来，虽然公司给80个小时的sick leave，还不如直接把sick leave和vacation
hours混起来这样更好呢。不过公司不愿意这么干吧。
我和同事貌似家里的孩子都是我们带去看病之类的，因为sick leave不用也不能roll
over，就没有了。
每次带孩子看医生也就是两个小时左右，感觉是请了很多次的假期，但是用了快一年也
就是40个小时啊。 |

前半年不让休，过了后就可以休假。假期累计可以按照从工作第一天算起
但是又说假期不能跨年累计 （母公司的HR口头说可以累计，子公司的文件没有改），
其他的很多人组都默认了可以累计
我的老板非要按照他的理解 说那个假期就算自动作废了
公司关于sick leave的文件没有写short term dis的，我准备拿这个去作为理由
只说了保留要求病假条的权利
年中的时候请了两天假，当时没有明说用什么理由，因为那个时候我以为只能用
vacation
，大不了我就说那两天就是sick leave
这样我只需要用4天的sick leave 还有剩下的2天vacation |

1正常规定这个是不行的，sick leave老板可以要doc note，当然加州可以例外。
2。sick time不能做vacation extension，上面有人说了，这个加州也不例外。
3 如果跟老板关系好可以work around policy，不过你不具备这个条件。
4。vacation可以carry over，不过大部分公司都不行，看来你们公司不行。所以你过
期就是过期了。
5 sick leave本来就是看病用的，你没生病就没有这个benefit，你可以把病假都请完
，可是你的performance肯定会有问题。 |

激素变化，身体个系统肯定都会有相关调整来更好的适应胎儿成长发育。每个人对身体
内部的这种变化适应情况不同，有的反应大些时间长些，有的反应小些时间短，还有的
不用过程直接就调整适应了。不过我觉得身体好点可能对反应的容忍度要高些，同样程
度的morning sick有的人觉得还行，有人就会觉得要死了。。。我有两个朋友怀孕早期
的时候都吐的天昏地暗，但感觉差好多。一个平时是健身狂人，怀孕前每天至少两个小
时在健身房瑜伽加慢跑，早上起床第一件事是仰卧起坐100个再洗漱，她每天照着三餐
加餐吐，还精神不错，每次吐完第一件事就是继续吃，说再吐好歹也能给胃里留点。她
怀的是双胞胎男孩，一直怀到39周医生说要vacation给她催产才把宝宝催出来，小的那
个宝宝都有6磅5oz。。。太牛了。。。另一个身体一般，也不爱锻炼，跟我说吐得她都
不想活了，每次吐完奄奄一息只能躺着。其实我觉得这跟心态也有关系，一吐就觉得不
行了那肯定各种反应都会被放大。 |

pay需要交加州州税么？
是short term disability的收入，和之后的california family leave收入，保险公司
发给我的w2表，表上16. State wages, tips, etc.这项跟box1的一样数目。问公司hr,
hr说要pay federal tax, might not need to pay state tax, ask tax advisor. 我
问了tax advisor,说w2上16是全额就是要付的，我就很难过的付了（真的有点难过，休
假的时候大家都告诉我这个免税）
可是最近看加州的EDD,不是说third-party-sick-pay不用付州税么？
已经过了报税期了，还是希望可以弄清楚，如果错了还可以要钱回来不是吗？
