我们这里flexibility还是很大的，产假如果愿意，也可以挪到产前休的，当然你也牺
牲了产后的时间。 sick day，每年公司7天，7天以上，sick不上班的话，就算short
term disability，医生开假条
但是具体实施的时候，如果你平时就sick 1-2天，老板也不怎么care，所以大家其实每
年也没有怎么休sick day，除非真的很sick,一休得好几天的那种 ：） |

weeks unpaid sick leave, provided that he have worked for that company for 1
year (and there are other small requirements)

做kaplan的时候，question trainer 5, #147，DM 1病人9am cataract surgery,
usually 30U of NPH and 10U of regular insulin at 7am everyday. 问今天怎么办。
按照sick day rules，我选了give insulin and monitor BS q 2-4 hours.
答案是hold morning dose of NPH and regular insulin and monitor BS.
刚好和sick day rules相反。是不是sick day rules只适用于sick day，这样的
surgery/procedure day不能照搬。

阶段，真正的好工作是拿着高薪又有大把空闲时间的。不晓得有多少人会enjoy那种有
命赚钱没命花钱的工作。
先报报我公司的吧：新进员工有3星期的假外加一星期的病假，此外还有一星期的个人
事假和一个星期的圣诞假，再加大约7天的公共假期，总共加起来差不多有7周的假期，
每工作5年后再多一星期假。所以一到summer特别是8月，基本都看不到什么人，都去加
勒比或回中国度假去了。。。

我们公司假期分为vacation和sick day，按照FMLA可以一次性最多休12周，其中顺产有
6周，C有8周，可以用sick day（sick day是fully paid，如果sick day不够的话
insurance可以cover少部分工资），出了这个6/8周以外的insurance不cover了，可以
用自己的vacation（full paid） |

several keys here:
1. Try to find a family care doesn't have many kids. The one I sent my son
to only has 3 full time (including my son) and 1 part time kids. Less kids
means less chance for your baby to get sick.
2. Try not to start sending your kid from winter time. I started sending my
son to the family care in late March. He was fine until late October (only

心干呕，但是犯起恶心来还是挺难受的。最近一周因为这个很没精神。而且大家都是
morning sickness, 我是evening sickness。一回家就无精打采的。
老公这周出海去钓鱼，于是给他买了防晕船的带在手腕上的手环。读了说明书上面写着
可以缓解morning sickness。于是这两天天天都带着，觉得还是有效果的，偶尔恶心一
下，不会持续，还是舒服了很多的
