我查了一下关键词，就是中文的疾病，英文的sick，相对于的希腊文是“kamno”，意
识是faint，sicken， wearied，中文意思是“虚弱的，有病的，疲乏的”，而第一个
意思是虚弱的，也就是软弱的。
而根据雅各书全书尤其是第五章这里的主旨是将灵命上的信心。如果协调一致的话，就
可以知道这里是讲的灵命上的软弱，而不是肉体上的病患。因此，我们可以知道这两句
经文应该翻译成：
5：14 你们中间有人灵命软弱呢，他就该请教会的长老来。他们可以奉主的名用油抹他
，为他祷告。

我不知有没有圣经译本翻译成软弱，但是翻译成疾病在纯粹翻译上也不能说是错，但是
从意义上讲就有脱离经文背景的感觉。在这种情况，选择另一个而且排在第一位的字来
代替顺理成章。

是sicken，因此也就沿袭下来了。不知道其他文版本是如何翻译的。不过至少我找到了
