八年前的这个季节，从国内来到美国。来美前，博士毕业后在一研究所工作了近5年。
期间主持完成了自己的第一个NSFC课题。由于不喜欢那里的小环境，离开那里后到西北
一大学工作。幸运的是，在那里又拿到了第二个NSFC课题，加上省部和学校的资助，支
起了还算小有起色的一摊子。虽然那的科研条件比原单位差一些，但一个人在那干了近
三年的时间，教书、带研究生、作科研，每天忙碌着，干着自己愿意干的事，少了原单
位的勾心斗角，而且在学生面前第一次觉得自己还是个有用之人，所以也很快乐。无奈
的是，老婆不喜欢那个地方，不肯搬过去。那时，老婆家人从一个朋友处得知美国这边
一大学实验室想找一个人。她觉得如果到美国比到中国的西北好多了，所以热情很高，
极力动员我试一试。但我当时干得还比较开心，加上要过来接那工作等于转了一个完全

事情是这样的。
我住的这个区每户人家都有自己的车库和Driveway，一般大家都把自己车停自己的
Driveway上。
路上虽然不禁止停车，但一般除了有人搞BBQ、party什么的才会有guest把车停路边之
外，通常是没有人停车的。一方面路本来就不宽，另一方面房子门口的路上停了车的话
，一周来2次的扫地车就会饶过停着车的地方。
特别是这几天，落叶非常多，如果家门口的路被车给停了，那么门口的落叶就只能自己
慢慢吹了！
从上周起，我家门口的路上、正对我房子大门的部位，出现了一辆屎绿色的Nissan
Quest Minivan, 目测至少10年旧。 远看破破烂烂的非常的碍眼，近看布满泥浆灰尘非
常的恶心。
它还紧挨着我的Driveway， 虽然没有戳进来， 但依旧严重影响到了我的进出。

你能想象吗？第二排的安全带，因为螺丝没拧紧，自己掉了。车开了不到半年，第二排
坐人不超过30次，前天，家人上车要系上安全带，结果发现如图所示。总结一下吧：1.
冷却液探测器灵敏度不准的问题。跑去dealer那，给冷却液满上就没问题了。据dealer
说，2015款的GL低温地区普遍有这问题。2. 自感应门把手的开锁车功能，在低温时有
时完全没反应。3. 自动泊车不好使，一共试了三次。头两次一直往后退，没敢试它会
不会在最后一秒自己刹住，所以我踩了刹车。不甘心，后来又试了一次，结果车子自己
直接倒上了sidewalk。太忙，这个这周末要去找dealer4. 安全带竟然螺丝没有a拧紧，
自己给掉下来了！！！！！

八年前的这个季节，从国内来到美国。来美前，博士毕业后在一研究所工作了近5年。
期间主持完成了自己的第一个NSFC课题。由于不喜欢那里的小环境，离开那里后到西北
一大学工作。幸运的是，在那里又拿到了第二个NSFC课题，加上省部和学校的资助，支
起了还算小有起色的一摊子。虽然那的科研条件比原单位差一些，但一个人在那干了近
三年的时间，教书、带研究生、作科研，每天忙碌着，干着自己愿意干的事，少了原单
位的勾心斗角，而且在学生面前第一次觉得自己还是个有用之人，所以也很快乐。无奈
的是，老婆不喜欢那个地方，不肯搬过去。那时，老婆家人从一个朋友处得知美国这边
一大学实验室想找一个人。她觉得如果到美国比到中国的西北好多了，所以热情很高，
极力动员我试一试。但我当时干得还比较开心，加上要过来接那工作等于转了一个完全

约时报华人编辑在纽约上冻城被一个50岁白女骂滚回中国去，发公开信谴责。我赶快找
到原文看完，又看评论，还没有看完，就急着去看我的家庭医生。
当时是晚上6点过，下班时分路上车辆太多，可见人行道上基本没人，我就骑着单车上
了人行道。这是公园旁边的人行道，整条人行道上只有前方有个白人中年女大约也是50
多岁样子，略显肥胖，拉着一个空的购物车正在跟我同一方向往前走。她边走边骂骂咧

都是默认在side walk骑的。开车的人最烦的就是自行车慢慢在机动车道上骑。我老不

暴风雪后经常有民众因为路面过滑摔伤。居住在布碌仑的郑女士和皇后区的杨先生，日
前均在住家门前摔倒，分别导致脚踝和坐骨骨折，打算状告房东。处理这两起案件的律
师戴禺日前指出，行人若在三家庭及以下住宅楼前的人行道(sidewalk)摔伤，由于人行
道属市府财产，伤者应告市府；而对属于私人属地的门前走道(walkway)和阶梯，无论
是三家庭以下还是以上住宅的房东，都有责任，因此若有人在屋前走道和阶梯上由于积
雪摔倒，屋主就必须负相关法律责任。
郑女士租住布碌仑一户两家庭住宅，她在楼前通往人行道的走道上，在没有清理干净的
积雪上滑倒，导致脚踝骨折。皇后区的杨先生，则是在屋门前的阶梯上滑倒，究其因，
是屋簷上的水槽破洞，导致融雪掉落阶梯结冰，使其滑倒，导致坐骨骨折。
戴禺表示，在此情况下，郑女士和杨先生都可状告房东，因为房东有责任清理干净楼前
走道和阶梯，并一定要完全清理干净，否则一旦出事，就要负法律责任。戴禺并强调，
