or even escape route before you "test/try it out".
Yeah, TrueCabbage is right - move sideways and try to maintain your
elevation. If you are a rider it makes it so much harder.
At Snowbird, if there is not a mark or rope stopping you, there is always
some way down without jumping off cliffs or hitting rocks. |

了一天累个半死。主要是膝盖一直 sideway 弯着,大腿两侧使足了力,现在酸的要命。
绿道好像不明显,蓝道如果控速划大弧线,而不是高速冲下来,真是累。以前
skidding 的时候反儿没有这么累。是我什么技术没得要领? |

i personally have never tried these. my son is learning right now but he
kind of goes sideways when he is able to turn. lots of times he can't make
the turn. what is wrong? weak stomach muscle? not tucked in tight? please

We did a 400 choice warm-up first. I tried to make sure "右手入水时右臂向前
,不偏中”。 还有一点抱水初期向下向外, 然后向后。 这样做的时候我能感到划水
轻松了好多,手出水之前手自然地触到大腿外侧(不知道对不对)。
Then it was time for the 12 minute swim. I swam around 540 yards (When I
touched the wall, it was 10 seconds passed 12 minutes). Not bad since I
woke up with a headache, probably due to lack of sleep.
The last 25 minutes of class was "learning something new". One lady and I

Today is cross training day on my plan, so off to the pool I went.
300y warm up
5x100 pull on 2:30
4x100 swim on 3’ with flip turns. The flip turns were horrible. Most of
the time I landed sideways, half of the time I landed too deep (the other
half probably too shallow). For all of them I was struggling to breathe
right after kicking off the wall. Still, this is the first time ever I swam
100 yards with flip turns on all the turns, AND I did it 4 times! I see

Nadal has to hit like that to generate his level of topspin.
Although at contact point, everything looks the same, but it's
the direction that racket moves to hit the ball that matters.
The racket can push the ball forward, brush the ball upwards,
or chop the ball forward/sideways/upwards.
Nadal finishes with an ugly over the head followthrough because
when he contacts the ball, his racket is brushing up very fast.

are mainly caused by late point of contact. If you can hit those balls are
little bit early, you can reduced significant amount of UEs.

racket head drop can all help you hit the balls in front of you instead of

into the volley. Lead with left foot with forehand volley, right foot with
backhand volley.
2. Reduce your swing. Volleying with your body movement is the best. Try to

, 经常晚。如果来球比较deep, 自己的footwork比较lazy没有move back,至少还知道怎
么fix。有些球在自己的右前方,比我想象的要浅一些(但还不至于浅到能打approach
shot), 这种球我却经常 swing late。有时候错误的惯性非常难以改正。我往往习惯看
