向新语丝网站举报一个可疑的台湾“学术”会议主办者，他们疯狂主办各种
“学术“会议并向大陆各高校狂发会议信息，以下是最近收到的会议信息，一年
内主办N次国际学术会议，这些会议题目都极为宽泛，论文来者不拒，一律录用，
录用后就催缴注册费，这些会议均没有学术委员会, 不知会议组织者为何方神仙，
来信皆以Secreariat落款，颇为神秘。
这些的会议主办者都指向同一个地址“12-1 F., No. 129, Sec. 1, Fuxing
S. Rd., Taipei Taiwan”，会议组织者名称为“Higher Education Forum”，
有时也把名称变换为“Asia-Pacific Education & Research Association”。
现借新语丝网站向各高校师生呼吁，当你接到Higher Education Forum（或
Asia-Pacific Education & Research Association）会议信息时，提高警惕，
以免上当。

我认为 Russian Math最好，但根据实际情况选择了最容易的
所以我家用的Sigapore Math外加传统Beijing Math
我在想最后效果也差不多，不管你用什么数学。 |

petition letter was 23 pages, mainly wrote by the lawyer.

That price is for the students from Sigapore, Hongkong etc,
I think.
To a Chinese student, there must be lots of ways to save
money ^_^
To me, I think, I will spend $8,000-$10,000 excluding the
tuition fee.

我们会教中文简体， 可能会用暨南的中文书。数学我想继续用Sigapore Math。 我教
过这套教材。 我们也有可能选其他的教材。 如果您有推荐， 更是欢迎。
我的朋友对于教中文已经比较有经验。 由于她的努力， 我们办校后班的证书已经从
Newark City 获批。 我们还成立了一个以俩人名义的LLC.
困难是想了很多， 首先就是租场地的钱， 不是一笔小数目。 因为地方太小了， 不利
于以后的发展， 所以地方要至少2000sqft。还有这种服务性质的学校， 不能轻易挪地
方。 另外，交通不方便的地方也不行。 准备在Newark 和Ardenwood 交接处租地方。
目前办校后班比较吸引我的地方是， 我可以兼顾自己孩子的教育， 另外生活方式也会
改善些。
还有一点， 记得版上的名人说过， 中国需要有自己的community center， 我很同意
她的话。 如果可以的话， 我也会朝这个方向努力， 为中国人的公益活动等提供场地
。
请大家各抒己见。 |

1) For E=>D, although many scholars argue that economic development is
conducive to democracy, it is neither necessary nor suffcient for
democratization and stable democracy. India shows the non-neccesity. Sigapore
implies the non-sufficiency. They may be just outliers, or exceptions but we
do have many other examples (i.e. Middle East and some OPEC memebers, )

i'm just wondering where there could be benign dictators, but no one ever talk
