ntp server是sychronization用的，我不是已经说了么？你这个不看帖，又要问。再讲
细一点就是，通信的2边，clock要对准，这样才能好好地通信嘛。
jitter是varaiation of delay，delay有很多原因，可以是带宽不行，也可以是你
timing没弄好。信号影响不影响，这个是good question，我个人认为是的，sip的每一
个signal都是time sensitive的，所以我觉得很关键啊。 |

这太笼统，好好通讯， 太笼统。如果是layer 2的同步时钟，当然很重要。
但ntp的时钟是否也是那么重要。
我想请教的是：
1. ntp是不是关系到通讯能否建立。
错误配置或根本不用ntp，是否就不能建立IP PHONE 之间的通讯。
或者会导致通讯连接不能稳定。比如我们碰到的情况，
有时候能拨进去，有时候拨不进去。
这应该是所谓的signaling吧？
还是
2. ntp只是关乎通话质量以及提供商业管理(比如billing 记录）方面的问题。
这些问题也许对大家都是基本常识，所以假设别人都知道了。

我个人感觉影响的是通话质量，delay，或者是断线了。
有时候能拨，有时候不能拨，和ntp没有太大关系，可能和device的CAC有关系，比如设
定6条通话线路，结果第7条出来了，那么就要drop掉，不然整个7条通话质量都要下降。
通话过程中，也是需要signal的，不是session建好了，就什么不管了。 |

I work on upgrade my home theatre to blu-ray. ( yes, I know. i was traveling
in Mar. :p ) Then I find this Dolby TrueHD, which is claimed as lossless
sound. The problem is that my AVR, DENON 3805 doesn't have HDMI. If i want
to have the TrueHD, i will have to get a blu-ray player decode it and send
through the 7.1 analog output. Just to make it more confusing, i only have 5
speakers connecting with my AVR.
Here are my questions:

producers 会产生三种不同priority 的events，
consumers 必须1. 总是优先处理高priority的event， 2.同priority的events按先来
后到处理。
刚开始的设想是用priorityblockingqueue， 方便快捷
第一个concern是： priorityblockingqueue无法保证同priority的events能按先来后
到处理。
这个可以通过rewrite comparator解决
第二个concern比较大： priorityblockingqueue是用heap实现的， enqueue and
dequeue都是 log(n) 的操作,
对于我们的大数据量大约是不妥的
现在的想法是只好化简为繁作三个seperate FIFO queues， 分别对应high， medium，
low priority。
好处是dequeue， enqueue都是 O（1）了

basically if someone writes data into this pipe,
we'll catch it with select() (not 100% sure, but sth. like this)
normally another c code process can catch this and reports we get data.
