It took me an hour just to dismantle the old faucet. My kitchen sink has
garbage disposal and numerous water pipes which makes it almost impossible

use a regular wrench, not enough space to use a basin wrench.
The old Moven faucet is install in away that you can only remove the nut

below the sink using a customized socket tool from Moven.
Unfortunately, the stupid socket tool for my new Moven sink does not fit the

3个房子，全部是楼上4 bedrooms，1,2楼上2个full bath，second bath都是2个sinks
，3楼上3个full bath，其中2个是2个sinks，一个是一个sink.
1,2 basement装修了，各还有一个full bath，3 basement unfinished。
1 laundry room在2楼，2,3在一楼，全部都是有sink的 |

首先，昨天晚上结账的时候你其实意识到对方少收了三百多，但是你也没提醒没询问也
没对收据。当然这时候不问也可以理解，也许是店家额外的折扣呢。对了receipt上真
的有sink吗？
但是第二天你去问了，人家明确说了最后讲定的价钱是9000，如果按你说的9000包括了
所有的东西，那你就把这钱补齐了领回你的sink不就结了。我觉得这样做比较合情合理。
另外我觉得这事上升到中国人形象就没必要了。就像你说的，凡事据理力争，只不过围
观的觉得你这件事上的理有限。经理么，他也不想丢了这么个生意。昨天sink都给你了
，今天说几句好听的就更不在话下。哎，总之么大家都不容易。

攒满水，让水一下子冲下去，就会漏的很明显。
我找了个plumber，今天上午去搞。我有事，所以都是我老婆和他交涉的。他和我老婆
说sink不漏，是下面的管子漏，搞一下207。说是有warranty，再漏免费来修，所以不
需要担心。我老婆也不懂plumbing，就让他修了。
这哥们换了pipe后，终于承认sink也漏了，说是要换sink，200 labor再加材料费。我
老婆问他不是207管修好，还有warranty吗。他说pipe是修好了，也不漏了，你这sink
是新地方，得另外给钱。
我觉得他就是骗我老婆啊，207换个pipe，这个要这么贵吗，我在家都是自己换的，很
简单啊，就是塑料管子拧一拧。而且我去看的时候没看到管子漏水啊。漏的水池根本没
修啊。我们叫他走了，太不靠谱了。

1）不喜欢马桶在sink的后面，用sink时裤子很容易擦到马桶，而马桶不可能时刻保持
清洁。
2）马桶和shower用的时间次数都不多，更在乎sink的位置。不喜欢进去用sink时来个
后转身。
能放的下，支持改造成full bathroom，如果有这个需要。shower的地方能小尽量小吧。 |

说明堵的地方在三者联通后的支管，连到主排污管（sewer pipe）之前。
把马桶拆了，snake进去大约13feet，可以弄出来少量碎纸和其他丝状东西。搞了半天
也不行。 （我用的是细的那种叫Auger的snake，粗的应该不行吧？会损坏管道？）
从距离上看，也说明堵的地方在三者联通后的支管，连到主排污管（sewer pipe）之前。
用wet vac往里面吹气，情况很奇怪。
从马桶底部的管道吹，堵住sink和洗衣机的下水管。sink处感觉到水压，如果不压住水
就喷出来了。可是洗衣机下水管感觉不到水压。
从洗衣机下水管吹，堵住sink和马桶管。一开始sink处和马桶底部感觉到水压，10秒后
然后水压就没有了。
按理说，wet vac的水压不小了，什么clog这么顽固啊？

据说他95mile的sinking fastball很难打，因为sinking fastball有强烈的下旋，所以
像个保龄球一样滚过来一样，打击一碰球就弹地，全是DP和infield 的球，所以打击很
头疼。而且sinking fastball很难投到95，一般就89，90左右。
而且他投球动作很顺很smooth，不太像会受伤的那种，所以真的很可惜。
投手是最重要的，防守其次。 |

1.Range hood：
我在Ebay买的，好看便宜

来不及在Ebay订，counter Top先到了，在Lowe's 多花了两百。
3.柜子把手
在上海买的，比美国的好看又便宜。美中不足，太大，装上去像暴发户。我的设计说是
那是欧洲的样式，欧洲人人高马大，爪子也宽。

我的设计说柜子应该做到“高低错落，样式别致”。我家房子一共就七尺八寸，一错落
就上房顶了；样式变化，加多了银子不够，都用玻璃门人家会以为买不起木头板。中国
师傅说我的柜子在中国店（梦想Framington，佳佳Quincy）订只要一半的价钱，可来了
要重新组装柜子，质量也差一些。我的朋友说我们中国人在Lowe's买柜子有个误区，花
大价钱买最好的板材一点不含糊，可加花哨的装饰的时候舍不得花钱，影响柜子做出来
的整体效果。

我的体会是不管是大河还是溪流，水流急得话，要用较重的sink tip，可以配几种不同
沉水率的sink tip，单手杆大约是5-8尺，单独买散装的就行，很便宜。sink rate低了
很难沉到底。一体化的sinktip线，最好也是super fast sink rate的。Leader短一些
，3、4尺就很好。除了pink，都要求尽量靠近底。 |

连续五天的降水过后，Grand Teton雪太多，温度太低，没爬
Lander呆了两天，爬了Wild Iris和Sink Canyon。这个小镇在Yellowstone的东面两小
时车程的地方，镇中心的公园草坪上可以免费camping，有水有厕所没shower。Wild
Iris名字很好听，在Lander南面开车20分钟的地方。Limestone，主要的路线集中在
Main Wall。可惜Main Wall向南，夏天爬太热，我们只爬了OK Corral。路线都很短，
质量一般。因为有树荫人还挺多的。好多初学者，家庭在那边。爬惯了sand stone，
limestone的摩擦力比sand stone小，爬得我小心翼翼的。
第二天去了sink canyon，在Lander西南十几分钟的地方。比Wild Iris还热，我们在
Sink的main wall爬了几条线就走了。路线比较长，还是limestone。sink canyon得名
于一条小河，消失在canyon中，然后又从另一边流出。有人把染料放进河水， |

我觉得从 TI 的教程，其实任何东西都是有优点和缺点。理解角度改变会
发生啥，可能有助于自己不断动态调整。
我同意 TI 不用 kick board 这一点，因为不用 kick board，任何
动作改变直接影响平衡，从而影响前面的路线方向速度等等，自己就能调整。
在调整角度以前，首先是人要保持直。如果人本身不直，不用谈角度。
要知道自己直不直，侧面 flutter kick，因为侧面 kick，如果有撅屁
股或者过分挺腰，游歪了。根据歪的路线调整身体姿态。
在身体保持直的情况下躺着面朝天 kick （同样不用 kick board），
不用想着平行。想着头部的位置（如果身体保持直，头部位置直接决定脚部
的位置）。如果头部 sink too much，头会往下沉，导致无法吸气。但
如果头部 sink too less，吸气是没问题了，但是脚部会下沉太多，导
致不必要的 drag。所以要点就是让头部 sink as much as possible，
但是仍然能够自由呼吸，（前提是身体保持直）。这样在保证能呼吸的情况
下阻力最小。

a 50W LED assembly, a big (16inch x 6 inch x 1 inch ) heat sink.
the 50W power supply to give 30v output (LED is 5 parallel lines of 10 LED
each)
it is quite bright, but I think roughly the same as a 100W equivalent CFL.

一直在徘徊，配何种线？主要是在skagit shooting head 和windcutter之间徘徊。前
者在北美更流行一些，是用grain来和杆子的号数相配；后者则有和杆子一样的号数；
windcutter with tips，配有5根不同sink rate的tip，线的belly部分较长，价格本地
为$179+tax，约200刀。
而Skagit的连接关系是：
背线---〉running line(level flaoting飞线)---〉Skagit shooting head--->tips(
sink, floating etc)--->leader
由于我自己已经有running line（100尺），也可以自己制作的各种sink rate的Tips(8
、11、14号各单买sink线，大约10尺就够了，$0.5--$0.8一尺，比较便宜)，因此最终
选择了skagit风格。买了skagit shooting head line(27ft, 650grain )，以及Taped
floating Tip，其它自己搞的。比windcutter能节省 |

我现在住的这个公寓，刚搬进来的时候，有老鼠，而且还挺猖狂。我很怕老鼠，天天想

办：
家里的金融投资基本都是我在操心，以前也试过给她一些东西管管，可总是不了了
之，例如有一套投资房，2次换房客一开始都给她试过，到后来都不了了之。第二次更
是因为该不该装修的事情吵起来。我的意思是出租屋要装那么好干嘛，能有收入就可以
，她认为交给contractor装花个1.5w能多点租金。和她试图认真讨论过，主要的con是
租金才多100-200不值得，还有对这种小项目contractor很难伺候。由于和我意见不合
，她找了1个月遇到点挫折就不管了，然后我接手过来，找了一个还比较随和的中产单
身女，收入信用合同都是我一手搞定，后来的日常管理沟通她也基本不过问。不管也就
算了，可这位太太事后也不省心啊....
有一次那个房子里的stove坏掉了，那个女的要求换stove,我的处理考虑是，我另外
一个房子里有2个半新的stove,质量还不错，是full size的，出租屋的stove是half
size的，然后出租屋的厨房实在太旧了，之前在找房客的时候为此吃了不少亏。所以我

厨房的下水管道堵了，我们自己拆开了sink下面的弯管，确定不是这里的问题。
厨房斜上方的楼上是主浴，现在一用主浴的shower或者tub，楼下厨房的sink就往外溢
水，但是用马桶没问题，估计是shower下来后跟厨房sink汇合后的一段堵了。
我试图跟一个plumber问价，人家说要上门看看才能报价，也可以理解。不知道版上大
牛能不能先给我点概念，这种堵塞大概会花多少钱？
我们试图用了liquid plumber，但是堵的地方看起来太深了，基本无效。晚上也打算自
己去买个hand Auger试试，不过第一次用，不是的效果如何，风险如何。如果找人修不
是很贵的话也考虑不自己费劲了。

的鞋子只类的在sink里刷一刷。
但是目前看的房子，好多的洗衣机和卧室在一层楼。感觉要是有sink在那一层楼的话就
不合适了。
大家都是什么preference? 讲讲优缺点吧！ |

如果你提高drain pipe over sink，应该有air gap，否则sink堵了的话
所有的水都给抽到洗碗机里了。 |

mold, 还有一个是deck太旧，说要么修，要么换。加上七七八八其它一下小毛病，
agent建议我们找seller降价$5000
第一次inspection的时候没有开水，所以没检查水管，今天做了剩下的inspection，结
果如下，说都是小问题，想问一下大家的看法。

Noisy disposal
Leaking at dishwasher shut off, dishwasher not tested.
Filtered drinking water spigot at sink inoperable
Repairs at sink drain.
Lower Bath:
Slow drain at sink
Suggest adjusting internal toilet hardware for proper operation.
Suggest caulking tub faucet.

最重要的是要在steel sink上钻个直径1“的孔，打算装under sink Reverse Osmosis
。
google了一圈，准备用step drill。 就是先钻小孔，换钻头慢慢钻大，先上下确认钻
孔1”没有问
题，没有障碍物，钻的时候转速要慢。
有谁自己钻过，还有啥其他注意的吗？现在想想很紧张，主要是一旦钻坏了，可不像在
墙上打洞，拿牙
膏一抹，或者挂个东西遮住。厨房的sink可是每天都看见的，搞砸了要step down LD地
位的。 |

房间根本没有水池，upgrade是加水池？如果是后者，那还是很有用的呀。在laudry
room没有sink,那很土也，而且以后在做pluming的活也很麻烦
2. pre wire fan, 这个是指在天花板上开好电源口吧，即使用remote ,电扇的电源怎
么走线呢？
3. recessed lights,价格稍稍贵点，但是自己请人来做是70-100/一个 labor + 材料
， 而且到时候要另外开墙，补墙，刷墙，不如现在做了，这个是增加value的。
4. internet/phone jet 请人做是一个$75, builder做的价格好像还好，而且房间不多
，全加也没多少钱，这个卖房子的时候其实卖点不强也。不过就自己方便。
5. 43-cabinet must, power room must.
6.当然啦如果所有的东西都准备自己做，不请人做，那就什么不用加，自己动手。

妆台是不一样的，一般是在浴室另外一块做个cabinet,是化妆台，如果没有空间，就在
卧室里面单独买个梳妆台好了。坐在sink前化妆那感觉就像蹲在马桶上化妆样。 |
