方向不知如何选择,请各位大牛指教。
第一个方向是关于polymer-nanoparticle composite。主要做的是Polymer引导的
nanoparticle的组装,以及电学光学性质的研究,应该可以学到coating, annealing,
AFM, TEM, XRD等等,应该也会用到polymer的合成。我个人是对polymer非常感兴趣,
但是导师可能不是特别容易沟通,很坚持自己的意见,相处的话要很有技巧。发文章的
话一般是2-4篇nanoscale-AM不等的文章,如果发的文章不错,导师也很满意,应该可
以去做大公司例如Dow做R&D,继续做polymer(目前还是想要做R&D)。如果说文章不太
好,应该只能去做process engineer。
第二个方向是Conductive oxidants,例如SnO2,跟一个EE的教授,人不错。主要做的是
Oxidants Thin Film Transistors。从无机solgel的合成,到器件的全部加工(roll to

我是即将于2011年底毕业的环境工程Ph.D.。从去年开始陆续在一些学术会议中参加招
聘会,修改简历,了解工程界的市场形势和对员工的需求。最近注册了Mitbbs和一些专
业论坛,对找工作这个系统工程有了一个大致的了解,这里也要感谢众位前辈的经验。
今天是第一次发帖,算是给自己的找工作历程标记一个开始。找工作不同于申请或者作
研究,不是一个人单打独斗。所以希望在这里能和大家多交流经验,分享信息,同时也
是互相鼓励。下面附上我自己的的简历,希望大家能够不吝赐教,多提建议。另外我会

关于简历:我现在主要的目标是Consulting公司中的Scientist/Engineer。我在国内的
本科和硕士专业分别是给排水工程和市政工程,无论是工程还是研究经验都是偏重于水
和废水处理技术的应用,来美国后做的研究则偏向Science。客观评价的话,我的实际
操作能力较强,性格很开朗,善于交流,喜欢学习新知识,所以感觉Consulting应该是
个不错的尝试,而一份目的明确的简历则是这个尝试的开始。考虑到这个目标,我的简

t**********6 发帖数: 565 | 13 我们经常用的是rapid prototyping - SLS (Selective laser sintering )或是 SLA
.具体方法搜索一下wiki就了解了。简单的说,就是利用激光把液态塑料融化成型。做
出来prototype供客户看,或者是自己用来测试。
SLA通常外形效果好,喷上漆,做display sample,但是强度不够。SLS 外形效果差点,
但是可以用尼龙还可加玻纤,强度好多了,可以用来做一些prelimary testing.
当然,还可以采用CNC去切,做machined sample. 费时长点。也是我们经常用到的。
一般来讲,我们都是拿给供应商帮我们加工的。自己再拿回组件,喷漆啥的。。
