最近查了一些Nature sister journals的editor的简历（研究经历、发表文章记录等）
，发现这些Editors做科研方面其实都不是很牛（比如从phd开始到博士后结束，一般为
6-10年时间，也就发表10篇论文左右，而且不一定有CNS）。这些人有的具有较diverse
的研究领域，有的也就研究过1-2个不同体系而已。
而当我们投稿Nature sister journals的时候，很多文章基本就被editor直接拒了，包
括editor不怎么懂的领域。
那这就出现问题了，这些二三流的杂志Editor如何判断一流科学家的稿件质量，尤其对
自己不太熟知的领域（如这篇稿件相对于已有文章的创新）？（PS：我不算一流，但他
们肯定据过不少一流科学家的稿件）？ 不知道他们依靠的标准是什么？
换句话说，这些editor是否绑架了科学？
一个有意思的现象是，nature sister journals （如Nature Communications）最近新

几个小时，我下课了再去她家接儿子。我按小时给老师付钱。
这个老师和他父母，sister住在一起，老师和她的sister都还没结婚，所以都很喜欢我
儿子。
上周过新年，我刚好有课，下课去接儿子时，发现老师，her sister，her brother,
and her mom每个人都给我儿子一个10刀或12刀的红包，然后她姐姐还给我儿子买了一
套衣服，搞得我觉得很不好意思。
现在想买点东西送给老师一家，但是实在不知道送什么，大家能给点建议吗？
我本来想送餐馆的gift certificate,不知道合不合适？还是送gift card好？还是买点
啥礼品或食品？ |

just mom dad, siblings, and grandparents.
I had his sisters made a birthday card for him, cost nothing.
I had his sister sing and play happy birthday song for him, cost nothing.
I made a cake myself, bought Elmo cake deco, birthday candle, birthday hat,
birthday bib, cost is about $10. Grandparents contributed $100, we used that
on a couple toys as birthday presents.

like sharing), but don't press on it so that she feels she has to. It's
better to "correct" such innocuous behavior gradually and not abruptedly. At
the same time, acknowledge her feeling------it's used to belong to her and
only her and she loves those toys------if she feels her action was tolerated
and not punished, she will be more open to whatever parents suggest her to

对 brother and sister 的关系的理解就是：boys are brothers and girls are
sisters. 不清楚 brother and sister 的关系是从家庭的siblings 的概念延伸出来的
。还有，他经常会犯代词的错误。必须要提醒他，他才能用对。
他倒是对读书很有兴趣，能记住很多词汇。但很多时候，他并没有真正了解比方说书中
人物的关系和性格。 |

with your daughter. They might say words like:
"Behave, or your parents will not love you as much as your younger brother/
sister."
"Your younger brother/sister is very obedient, why you can not be as good as
him/her?"
"You should modestly let your brother/sister always have priority."
It is always useful to tell the young girl again and again that she is still
loved by all, and she will be loved no matter what.
