you write a javascript function to open this window.
on your original page, you either use onLoad to
call this function (which means the new window with
your specified size will open right after a user
open your original page), or call this function
when the user click on one of the links in your

my problem is when using C++ and oracle ODBC driver to
connect to Oracle 8.1.6, if the sql string size exceeds 1k,
then my application will stop. But the same string can be
accepted by using SQLPLUS, is there a way to increase the
default buffer size for long Columns?

multiple threading environment. It's accurate at a time point。By‘not
accurate', I think you mean the value of size changes quickly because of
concurrent accesses. It doesn't really mean it's wrong; otherwise the
concurrency isn't thread safe, which isn't the case.
Are I missing something?
