总结一下:
1. 任何level的人都有摔跤的可能,只是有人会摔,有人不会。而摔跤也同样需要练习。
2. 如果感觉要摔了,不要向下看,不要反抗这种趋势,因为这样只会让你更容易失去
平衡。(这有点像瑜伽的感觉,当你觉得自己下不去的时候,用力挣扎更下不去,放软
自己,顺应地球引力反而更容易)
3. 那要怎样呢?顺着要摔的方向,用你的屁股蛋儿着地,而不要用尾骨。就是用侧坐
下去,尽量不要正坐。
4. 摔大跤建议用滚的。做法:手尽量靠紧身体,用头盔去分散掉力。建议在草地或地
毯上练习。 |

LBS 是木地板,很平整光滑。场地比SK大好多。管理相对也不错。
西雅图地区有3个主要的旱冰场:LBS, SK,SD(Skate Desk in Everett)。LBS应该是
最好的。
最近一年,我每周到LBS滑1到2次。每次都是一身汗回家。感觉身体比以前轻松有力很
多。滑旱冰是运动和娱乐完美结合的一项活动。You get fun when you do exercise。
唯一遗憾的是很少在场地里看到老中。希望更多的爱好者们可以一起来运动。 |

I doubt I can learn in one day. Renting equipement at the beginning is to save
money in case that you lose interest after first class.
Some time there is good deal to buy realy good skates. And I was told that
those reg price below 100 is not good.
The class fee and rental is a little bit expensive to me. I may try to ask
some of my friends to teach me.

前两天我们这一老先生在路上滑inline被车撞了。这老先生是把好手。
六十多了,Northshore的成绩还是1:15:xx。平均一下也有20mph
以上。偏偏赶上过马路时一辆车闯红灯。他在人行道上看到行人灯亮了,
就滑着过。一个女学生开车大概是没看见红灯,或者闯黄灯晚了。我在
那路口看了一下,刹车痕有十米长。幸好老先生戴着头盔。但还是断了
几根骨头。挡风玻璃碎了,造成不少划伤。这两天出院了,但是还有几个
手术要作。给大家发Email说估计要到明年夏天才能再滑了。然后说
出来滑一定要戴头盔,还有过马路时不光要看灯,还要看车。
我想着都后怕。大家平时活动,开车也都小心注意吧。 |

半程马拉松,13.1mile,我48min完成,16.375MPH,今早6:45出发时超过700人,只有
300多人有电子成绩(不包括我自己,详情另写流水账叙)。第一名的成绩是39'45"。
按照公布的电子成绩,我应该排在第30-31名左右。 |

一般冬天开始前都会有打折的skates卖,不用买太贵的,没必要,
太便宜的也不好,容易脚疼,买一双普通的就行,个人感觉CCM
和Bauer都不错。可以选择去年的老款,打折幅度比较大。 |

我中学开始滑的。那时是室外滑,每年有两个月的冰期。基本上是冰上小伙伴相互
学习,有谁学到新花样大家就都跟着学。不象这边的滑冰课有一级一级的课程。印象中
这里LOOP是在FREESTYLE4或5里。
男生滑FITURE SKATING如果滑好了相当潇洒。我非常欣赏俄罗斯的男子滑冰选手。
象亚古丁的FOOT WORK,普罗申科的高高的跳跃,多帅啊。当然男生滑HOCKEY比较保
险,不管滑的如何,只要头盔一戴,就很威风了。呵呵。 |

b****r 发帖数: 1395 | 40 下坡和减速是两个完全不同的专题,虽然下坡也可以用减速的方法,但
是效果不是最佳。
先说怎么下坡。下坡为了安全控制好速度,一般都是用走s形的方式。
inline下坡完全可以参考滑雪的动作,道理是一样的,重心放在哪条腿上
人就向相反方向转。下坡的方向就好比是滑雪里的fall-line,用来回的
s形切割fall-line。而且还可以模仿滑雪的动作,转弯前略伸直膝盖,提
重心,向转弯的内侧roll your knees,自然就会转过来。转过来以后屈
膝降重心向下做squeeze的动作,准备下一次的入弯。
和滑雪相同的地方:
ski的设计和inline skates的设计都是为了转弯方便的,如果你费很大力
气拧着它们转弯,那一定是你的动作错了。ski两头宽中间窄,而且有很
好的弹性,所以一压它,它自然就变成一条弧线,非常方便转弯。inline
底下全是轮子,相当于一个很大的1/4弧rocker,只有稍微向一侧倾斜就
很自然的转弯了。而且都是利用edge在画弧辅助转弯。
还有相近的地方是滑雪的标准姿势是traverse position,很多自学成才
的人这个基本动作就不对(不是滑雪板不多讨论) |

公路封路才敢练,这也是至今提高很慢的原因之一。
美国同学,水平都不错,楞是在traffic繁忙的城市里把轮滑当交通工具使,上下curb
不在话下。我还有一瑞典同学,连到了室内都懒得脱skates,侧着脚踩着轮子上楼梯,
身上还背着back pack,也不怕一马趴把laptop碎了。 |

I did not want to get so serious about short track club or race. Too old
for that, but I'd like to skate it in hokey rinks, just to play. That's why
I need the blades to be straight. Also, in the rink after they clean the
ice with a Zamboni they normally announce "reverse rotation" - from counter-
to clockwise (sorry for my mis-orientation before) I guess. So what do I
do then?
