我还挺喜欢玩的，就是那种cross-country skii的那种。划着划着也出了很多汗。以前
有人说跑步机和椭圆机都会伤膝盖，我能否就用skier来做有氧？有什么弊端吗？谢谢

锻炼可真的自己捉摸，有rock climbing, skii, 女生的有pilates (tower or
reformer pilates), barre, 跳舞（我推荐Jazz），爬山。得看哪个合适自己。 |

拍前腿，重心就回去了。于是我就拍拍前腿，重心就回去了。。呵呵。。。就是自己要
提醒自己的意思。你说的情况我也经历过。出现这种的情况的话，干脆就稍微慢点，你
说的速度太快的时候，估计就是板直接全面接触雪地前进的情况，稍微侧侧做个微笑的
turn，估计会稍微慢点，这个转换过程也许也能有助于你重新控制重心分配。
另外我不知道是是正确，是不是正确，就是速度很快的时候，重心反而不是那么非常的
肯定的锁定在前面的那个脚上，我感觉好像要灵活点，就是重心可以在前脚任何部位。
而不是某一点。不过速度慢的时候，反而重心是肯定的在前脚上。
可惜我住的地方离skii resort都太远啦。。要不每个周末都去滑下。 |

一直希望找一个runner作人生伴侣，我告诉GG，最怕别人说：你不要再跑了，会把膝盖
跑坏的。然后向他宣传俺的crazy 理论：膝盖就是用来跑的，what's the point of
keeping good knees if you don't use it? GG很喜欢我的哲学。
说实话，一直担心，没有一个人的精神鼓励，自己可能会在明年的全马中freak out，
开始没有太大奢望，只希望有人在终点为我加油就好，但是GG坚定地说：I'll run

我们在miami south beach玩一天。早上到10街和collins 交界的米阿密 beach。天气
好的不能再好，71度有风。把老婆孩子安顿好，就沿海边跑步，一路上是大片的白沙滩
，棕榈树，海水比天空还蔚蓝。很多人在沙滩晒太阳。游人也很多，中国人也很多。但
跑步的中国人不多。自己jogging起来觉得感觉良好，也很拉风。路上看到有人kite
skii，roller skating， biking，还有模特在照相。跑了3迈单程，大概到46街往回跑
，保持9-10分的pace，心律130-140很舒服，虽然是正午，但是在凉凉的海风下，一点
也不觉得热。有很长一段是在木板trail上跑，左边是连片的酒店和resort，右边是一
望无际的大海和白沙滩，感觉好极了。往返正好7迈。中途还停下来用手机照相。无忧
无虑的休闲短暂的度假生活就应该这样。中午，跑到一个pizza店订了一些吃的和饮料
，给自己点了一点喜欢的coors light作为奖励。
总结一点，觉得观光一个城市最好的办法就是跑步。
以后有机会到Miami Beach从南到北跑一遍，地图上目测了一下，... 阅读全帖 |

Steamboat is famous for its powder; And yes, it is! you can find endless of
powder on trail, a little bit off trail or almost anyway in trees.

It was a windy and cold day(temperature -15F/wind chill to -31F on top
mountain). I bought and put on my first pair of thermal pants(TNF base layer
,$42) in the resort. It worked pretty well without any un-comfort. I will
use it in most ski days in the future.
The view on top of storm king lift was great. since my friend was massing up
with the surface lift for 20 minutes, I had enough time to shot some

It was the last day of the trip and we was about to relax. But I cannot
relax anymore when I saw the powder and moguls there. Mary Jane is known for
its mogul ski. And for me, it is truly a great place to learn mogul ski.
The moguls there can be on both steep or gentle runs and anywere between.
The snow is soft and forgiven for better speed control. I had chance to be
confident and ski comfortablly on some easy slopes with body always facing

A few years ago, one boarder I skiied with in Heavenly tried to impress a
girl :).
He was probably at blue level at best. In the first run down a terrain park,
he went
for the big ramp to jump, fell on his body, and broke some "divider" inside
his body, air got through to his stomach. Ended up spending a couple of days
in lake tahoe hospital. That was the year I finally got a helmet.

extra each time to take the lift, in addition to the lift ticket you pay at
the base. No lift access there. See those 3 tiny dots on the right, they are
the climbers.
To get to the second picture spot, I skiied out of bound with some locals (I
assume), had to carry skis on some section since there was no enough snow.
But that decision was amply rewarded :) I skied down in one piece, so not

her walking with the injured knee so that the tendon won't heal into bad
shape.
My friend's daughter hurt her knee when we skiied in Vail (similar injury,
twisted her knee when ski did not come off in deep snow), the doctor
suggested her to keep walking even when it hurts badly and swell quite a bit
. She was able to go back skiing with one day's rest :) She seems fine now.

many little girls here skate. Once I realized skating is such a big help to
skiing, I became the main person to take care of her skating and skate with
her:)
Her mogul skiing progress is a complete surprise to me. Even at the

kids do. I thought I could teach her for another 5 years before she is even

small resort with a fancy and high-end renovation, most of the slopes are
green/blue. There are not many dangerous things to fall on to. I skiied there
at about the same time of year (March 2005?) for 2 days, the snow was soft
and
slushy. She is just very very unlucky to be hurt like that. Hope she
recovers. |
