, it is also more deadly than dry slab. Also, snowpack is only one factor
in avalanche world, terrain, weather and the traveler would be other major
factors.
So, personally I do not agree for backcountry traveler it is safer in sierra
than in rocky because it is marine climate and snow is sticky. it is
somehow missleading.

Also, the seller is so stupid by saying his coin is 27g.
A troy ounce is 31.1. The first thing I got my coin is to weight it. The
plastic sleeve normally weighs 1-2 g depends on size. No way to weigh slab
though, but the chance to get a fake slab is relatively low.
If you don't have a similar coin, you'd better use a caliper to measure the
size to check it is not bigger.

采用steel Specail Moment-Resisting Frame(SMRF),另一个方向考虑k-brace (

问题：
1.假设两个水平方向为x & y. 那么所有steel I column是否必须都一个方向（SMRF)设
置？ 如果两个方向都想用SMRF,没有共同的column, 可以把一部分I column strong
axis 放在x方向（SMRF at x direction), 另外一部分I column放在y方向（SMRF at y
direction），这种做法常见吗？
2.通常的drag beam是如何设置的？假设SMRF并不是整片bays,用steel beam连接SMRF吗

经典公式近似了一下，参数如下：
Width: 1.5um, total waveguide height: 0.75um, etching depth: 0.1um. 所以，
Slab height: 0.65um
但是想用设计软件验证一下，实验室有Rsoft CAD photonic suite, 结果请见图：支持
N多mode, 这个Rsoft总是把Slab也当成波导的一部分，怎么办，是软件参数设置的不对

也是到了加州才有机会练到smear的。smear脚要稳，重心掌握要精确，而且要相信你的
脚。
一次就想过这一关也太心急了。先向你朋友学习吧，我们这些Michigan的人平时sand
stone上主要练的是overhang，也搞不定smear。我朋友一个5.12 climber在J-tree的
slab上5.8都不行。我自己也是lead 5.9的smear的路线就吓得不行了。

预留网线，电话线接口，air duct通道怎么设计比较efficient，slab怎么设计防止管
子裂在里面拿不出来，如果是两层的房子有水压问题，如果在加州有地震问题，房梁，
地基的设计最新code是啥，如果是东部有龙卷风的地方怎么造有shelter功能的地下室。
这些不是学不会，我也是自己买了一烂房然后从头remodel才慢慢学的，但是要重新自
己设计建筑一个房子，那是无比的难，我拿了别人设计好的图，自己一点一点的改，查
permit要求，再跟contractor讨论，用20-20模拟效果，废了牛劲才设计出一个自己比
较满意的house。
就这个我只是打算以后买块地，叫contractor去盖我这个plan，自己监工就好，从头自
己修那是绝对没戏的，也不可能的，专业工具你哪里去找？打钉切木头都是上千的。
而且这还就是普通的自家住宅，根本不是豪宅。 |
