Pigs need to be slaughtered, then steamed to remove hair, then cut in half
and wait in refrig for a long time before it is shipped. The meat cutting
happens after it is shipped to the butcher. Butchers cut the meat then ship
it to stores.
I am very curious where you get your info.
When we visited a farm who raises animals, the farmer told us there are
regulations that a slaughter house can not butcher the same farm animal they
killed.

the pig head is cut off before its body is halved. But this thread is about
the difference between Chinese vs US pig slaughtering, not Peta vs
Carnivores.
Ethics issues aside, my point is there is no proof the current pig slaughter
method in US and in China are any different in terms of dripping blood. The
"traditional" Chinese method may be less humane, but it is the same: stun

out for many people, and this hurts some people including you. All I can
tell is you are defending Mao, a terrorist, man slaughter and dictator that
only Hitler and nowadays Kim Jong II could compete with. Probably you are
the only few people who tell out Yuan has 斗争哲学, to us, he just tells the
truth, has a good sense of humor, and pretty mild indeed. We have come
across more harsh critism of Mao in China.
