Just watched a few of their clips and here is my conclusion. Sourkov is
really talented, the 2nd male latin dancer in the world, in my opinion.
Period. However, Melia is not a natural dancer; she executes 'deadly'(不客气
地说，有点死板） what she has learned and there is no free soul in her
movements.

这之前，看到有一个人在youtube上说‘i am afraid she is losing her speed.' 这
句话象针扎了我一下。现在看到清晰的clips。在samba里面我都看到她明显出错,或者
说不够灵活的地方， 这样说吧，她有些时候，很不明显地(not detectable for most
people)，似乎跟不上slavik, 特别是快一点的dance。
我希望这只是暂时的状态， 通过一年warmup， 她能够恢复到很好的状态。

was the reason olga decided not to continue the tryout with him.

i am not sure how long an amateur like me can keep dancing (thinking like
this is sad, i know)...i am not sure if slavik and hanna will come again...i
am not sure if i will still be dancing when they do come next time...so i
bought a 1st row ticket as a gift for myself, as "myself" is soaked in the
joy of dancing at the moment. and if i remember it correctly, my birthday
falls around that time :) |

步（每次比赛都比上一次的排名往前推进几名）地在国际大赛中冒出头来的时候，很多
人都在谈论他们的成功故事。每次大赛（IDSF,Blackpool,World,etc.)大家都紧紧地盯
着他们俩，为他们喝彩。我知道他们俩的时候有点晚--他们已经拿到了一、两个世界级
别的冠军了。
记得我的一位来自乌克兰（Slavik来自乌克兰）的跳舞的朋友在电话中眉飞色舞地谈论
他的同胞如何成功。我当时连这个名字都没听说过。不过过了几天，轮到我得意洋洋地
在电话里向他宣称：“我见过他们俩了，而且是在非常近的距离（同一个studio内）看
着他们俩上一位老师的课的。。。”令他大吃一惊。
故事是这样的：那天下午我和舞伴在练舞。当时那个studio里面空空荡荡的，没什么人
。因为当天在我们那个地方有一个比赛，人大概都跑到赛场去了。我们没有去，因为那
不是collegiate的比赛。然后就来了三个人，一个胖胖的老师和一对学生，开始上课。
我们早就习惯旁边有人上课的情形，一点也没在意。过了一小会儿，我们停下来喝水休
息，同时看看那边上课的人 |

expected, I saw Slavik. The excitement is overwhelming...I still can't
breathe. |

, because the show was almost getting ready. there were two rooms for
changing, one for female, and another one for male. Of course, I walked into
the male changing room ( I was changing there before). When I just walked
in, I saw Hanna, first, I was feeling embarrassed, because I thought I might
got into the wrong room, then I saw Slavik in the mirror, he was doing

perspective and inspiration from star dancers， which are going to last long.
而且，我猜， Slavik 和 Hanna 应该在一个studio教课。 按消息来源， 观众在演出

sensitive and feminine, and is not very latin-ish. And he moves his
shoulders way too much. Maybe he should be a girl instead.
I just looked at british open result from last year. There are 4 chinese
couples that made quarter-final in the professional latin. I was able to
find some footage on one of them, and I really like them. See the link below:

there's nothing to lose. He seems a bit desperate to me now. For Anna, it'
s a bit risky...and i like her current hair style much better than the
mushroom top =) Stefano and Anna just won ISDF amateur champion title last
year and were still doing shows together...ballroom partnership is so
dynamic...haha, yesterday, when Stefano was introducing themselves, he was
saying US is a warm friendly country, just like where h |

Very interesting thoughts. I actually think the opposite to what you and
musique commented. i think there is nothing to lose for anna but it is risky
for slavik.
she'll from no.1 amateur to pro - which is a sooner or later thing for her.
dancing with the no.1 pro guy will boost her name remendously - that will
get her noticed among numerous lady dancers, and will help her find the next
guy. her path will resemble |

her arm styling and shoulders are still top quality to me.
it's the feel of dancing. hanna is exquisite dazzling ...
karyna's dance is like fire, with all the passion, emotion.
she dances her heart out. and i find her dancing the perfect match
for slavik's.

touching the connection and the pauses in the choreography.
"I do hope the Slavik-Anna partnership lasts, because they are very well-
matched and bring a lot of sensuality together. The first round was a bit
shaky for them, but you could actually see them getting more and more in the
groove with each round.
However, Riccardo and Yulia danced like there was no tomorrow. They knew
what was at stake, and it was a well-deserve |
