发帖数: 10373 | 1 大家对拍子都这么有研究,我真是深感惭愧呀.我为什么要用某某拍子,自己都没有什么理论基础.其实是我的水平太低了.
对于我来说,拍子和人是相互促进的.许多人觉得拍子重拿不动,就换拍子了.我却刚好相反,为了一定要拿得起重拍子,就拼命去举铁,结果网球水平没有提高多少,还是2.5.但拍面就越用越小,拍子就越用越重:
Sledge Hammer 6.3 110-> nTour2 95-> AK90-> K90 -> 现在觉得K90不够沉,想试一下 KPS88.
其实到现在,我觉得我的第一支拍子,Sledge Hammer 6.3,用起来比K90没轻多少.应该是Sledge Hammer 6.3是head heavy, K90是head light的缘故吧.杠杆原理,拍子轻但是head heavy的话,实际挥起来还是觉得沉.
反正对于我来说,网球也只是一种健身运动而已.就象以前习武的人一样,从拿不起重兵器,到能在手上连续挥动几小时,也是一种weight lifting的进步了,赫赫... |

我的背景：
文章18，英文，其中10篇一作。文章里有6篇paper发在根据SCImago 和 google
scholar选出的各种 top journal 里。
invited talk，seminar，paper 若干。
引用：131 (初次提交)。google scholar， 174（RFE），google scholar。回复RFE时
特意说了一下增长速率快（25% increase）。
审稿20-25。
有3个非主流的媒体报道。
有一个小的symposium的presentation award。初次提交听从律师的建议没有提。

整个过程有律师帮助。基本follow律师的建议。感觉律师对绿卡申请跟我自己的理解有
不小的偏差。例如，
我曾强调我的引用里面有一些大段引用，但是律师似乎开始并不是特别热衷把它们强调
出来。在我的坚持下，在PL里面加了几个进去。再如，我曾提议把我的小奖加进去

Pacific后半部分讲Sledge的故事都是取材与这本书。 他是一师五团三营K连的
motormen， 并不是冲在最前面的riflemen， 所以看起来死伤不多， 不过书比电视说
的当时的情况残酷多了
日军在没有海空支援，补给， 增援地情况下，能守成这样很不错了， 美军当时对
Peleliu和 Okinawa 两个岛的炮火覆盖是以千吨来计算的，记得有个数据是上岛前，两
三天， peleliu 岛每平方公里受到1200吨各式炸弹的轰炸。。。守Peleliu的关东军14
师团的长官切腹后， 被连升两级的 |

片尾打出的所有主配角原型的生平经历，居然只认得出Basilone,Lecky,Sledge,Snafu,
Puller,对其他的没有多少印象，甚至都记不得谁是谁。完全不像兄弟连，看了这么多

间的故事，很多有意思的情节。比如说刚开始被黄包车夫骗钱，海军陆战队队员不知道
黄包车有多贵，一开始花了很多钱；他故意朝天空指指点点，北京市民觉得洋人一定有
道理，结果总是聚集了一大堆人，然后他趁人不注意就跑了；他每次去一个煤场买煤，
发现煤老板对自己点头哈腰，对捡煤的穷小孩凶巴巴，他气愤不过总是在煤场里往外扔
煤给小孩；他常去一个中国医生家里（好像是海归）这个医生的小姨子快和在国民党空
军当军官的老公离婚了，他回美国之前被这个女的贴上来热吻，把Eugene吓坏了。 |

re-pour new concrete footing or pour with bracket. Make sure the posts are
level across the length of the field. Nail in top/bottom horizontal 2x4
support beams and then screw in the fence panels.
You'll need a good set of saw cause there'll be a fair amount of cutting.
Knocking loose the old concrete footing is heavy labor with sledge hammers,
suggest you hire a day laborer to help. |

没听说过，会去听听。
还有这个月每周五晚上七点半在hamden central park也都有免费露天音乐会。昨天那
个很好听，我没记住名字，好像是摇滚吧，男的声音很不错。上周六是一对老头the
turtles，六十年代很出名。虽然有点老，但很风趣开朗，一上来就说it's good to be
here - it's good to be anywhere when you're 65! 大家又笑又热烈鼓掌。他们历
数六十年代以来的社会事件啊，电视剧啊，老观众们都很激动，可惜我都不熟。
