I did not post my story everywhere. I wont get it exposed if there was no
this outbreak. I even told Liz6i not to mention he once had transaction with
me because I think it was a shame to be cheated by a kid. And I want
somehow to slove the situation. When approached by other victim in this
scandal, I did provide my personal suggestion.
And I undstand that not every holy-doc wants feedback for his/her

freedom to think independently. This is the core of Ph.D. training. Many
companies like to hire Ph.D.s because they know after having such a training
, their ways of sloving problem should be different than without. If you
could find such an advisor, then go for it.
In my opinion, an advisor who just wants to hire somebody to do technical
work for him is worse than this one. |

As some others said economists cannot explain/slove the current crisis. I
agree. But economists did find some principles: basic demand-supply,
competition, moral hazard, etc, which can help our economy..It's true that
we are far away from explaining everything, but we are trying to figure out
something to reduce the possibility and loss of the crisis.
Even if economists figure out the reason/solution of the crisis, it doesn't
mean there is no "市场风险".

1。 how long? 一页左右。 针对每一个专业，需要有不同的ps。
2。不应该：书写错误； 过于详细，不是CV，需要有重点； 过于华丽； 太普通，不是
life story。需要展示inside of youself，如果有gap或重考的话，可以讲讲你是怎么
征服困难的，怎么变得更强，怎么作出反应的。 经常是pd看到你的简历或成绩，有了
疑问的话，就想在你的ps里面找到答案。
不要说什么‘want to help people'这种空话，也不需要emotional。
3。 应该： 显示你的独特性。为什么选这个专业，为什么你适合这个专业，你对
training以后将来的打算。 从ps里面应该能看出你的品性，你和人交流的能力，也对
面试时有影响。（不要用商业的人写ps）program很注重一致性。一方面是你的ps给人
的感觉，和真正面试时的感觉要一致。另一方面，你和不同的面试人员，秘书，
resident接触的时候也应该表现一致。
ps还应该让你从众人中脱颖而出，让program的人看完以后就想见见真人。或者提
