回家下车之后闻到浓浓的焦糊味，
那种塑料或者橡胶被高温灼烧的气味。
然后发现气味来自于右后轮胎，
并且伴有非常非常明显的发热，
手放在附近30cm的地方，就想冬日里的暖炉一样。
大胆用手尝试了一下，
轮胎、刹车半、caliper。所有我敢碰的东西都很热。
今天拿去merchantstire查了一下，
诊断说是catalytic converter（触媒转换器）的问题。
打印出来的原句是：
“the customer stated that he smells something,
the mechanic found he only smells the catalytic converter”
他们不do这个，于是我就回家来发帖了。
我问了他们catalytic converter跟焦糊味、发热有什么关系？
答曰：the exhaust。
上网查了一下catalytic converter的价钱
从几十到300不等。
平均每一个多月就要去光顾一趟车铺，

my friend's Infiniti. It made me car sick when the car was new, and still
bothers me now the most smell is gone. Leatherette also ages. It is
happening with the Infiniti I mentioned.

Leatherette last forever compare to leather, so it depends on how much you
abuse the car. You can also get into saving the poor cow stuff...

take a baby dump and come out OK ^_^

自从去年底搬家这个house以后, 总感觉furnace附近的气味很怪, smells like there
