A lota people have been to Yellowstone in summer but not too many, at least
I know of, went in winter. Well, winter in Yellowstone is really a fun and
different experience.
Two of my friends and I had a chance to go to Yellowston country this Xmas.

活动：kids icefishing derby
冰面：最上层7-8寸snow,中层7寸slush,下层10-12寸black ice
参与者：注册85名kids,每名kid 1-2位家长，友人夫妇+8岁儿子+俺
成绩：友人8岁儿子jig 一条14寸LM bass
获奖：第三名,获精致icefishing tipup一套
基本情况如上所述。
友人夫妇的8岁儿子是俺最小的fishing buddy兼徒弟，年初早早通知他做好准备月底参
加比赛。但因为天气状况不好，整个一月未有练习。
当天朋友一家12点到达比赛地点，俺稍后才到。见宽广的冰面上到处都堆满了大人和小
孩。放眼望去，冰面上估计已经树立了150-200个tipup,数辆snowmobile驰骋冰面，每
个小孩都选择了几个tipup看守，俺一看这架势，知道来晚了，索性就一起先去登记处
大吃一顿。
随后，带徒弟长途跋涉到远处一块靠近岸边的区域，因为太靠近岸边，估计大伙都认为
不会有鱼，所以没人看守那边的几个tipup。其实，大多数人没有经验，不知道察看地

其实每个地方都有一个特点，一方水土养一方的人。密西根正是这种很有特色的地方，
养一批很有特点的人。我要赞美的，就是咱密西根的特色。
假如你今天还年轻有冲劲，想拼一拼，加州，纽约应该是你的首选。但回首想想，去的人不少，有多少大发了？如果你在密西根象加州一样过：每年租个1200sqft的

新年第一天是在魁北克城度过的。早上下楼吃早饭，就听旅馆的大堂经理说，今早很冷
，零下34度，我忙问是摄氏
还是华氏，他笑笑，这个温度华氏和摄氏都一样。我一查，果然，－34F差不多是－37C
度，心想完了，今天是要
去坐dog sledding的，这么冷的天，还不得出人命。可是dog sledding比snowmobiling
的机会还要难得，于是很
悲壮的更新了facebook的status，武装到牙齿的出发了。
废话少说，以后反正会写游记，先上片吧。
1。Chateau Du Frontenac
2。St Lawrence River，河上到处都是大快冻结的冰块，是有破冰船打碎的，岁岁平安
了，呵呵！
3。城堡前有坐冰滑梯的，付两快钱可以拿一个类似滑板的东西从瞒高的ice slide上滑
下来

I didn't notice any ranger on the trip but there was a huge S&R going on

I remmber that a snowmobiler who fell two years ago at the same spot survive
d and only got minor injury.
However, in this case, if the rescuer can not get the victim very soon, I th

不过那个列表给的数字是绝对数字，没有给其他条件
比如说snowmobiler， backcountry skier的 base populartion
如果再给个比例，就更有说服力了
另外，你看表里，WA比CA的死亡人数多，WA无论是州的人口数量还是面积，都比CA小得
多，而且WA的雪比CA要湿，至少在cascade 以西是这样
所以雪干湿只是其中一个因素，还有很多其他因素，比如说降雪量，参加人数，这些人
是否比较aggressive，都有关 |

day 2 早上开到big sky (50 miles)，滑雪，晚上返回west yellowstone
day 3，day 4 租snowmobile玩黄石公园，晚上住west yellowstone
day 5 早上开到big sky (50 miles)，滑雪，晚上返回west yellowstone
day 6 早上开车返回SLC，下午有时间看看摩门教堂
day 7 SLC附近雪场一天滑雪，比如snowbird，都是boarder
day 8 收拾东西还车上飞机
选择big sky两天是因为手上有他家的赠票，这种赠票ebay上也有卖，2-30一张。
有这个时间去过的给看下这个计划可行性如何，还有什么要注意的，谢了！ |
