有熟悉这个领域的吗？我想问一个重要的gender difference
就是一般大家会觉得男人在一起喜欢谈论和财富有关的东西，比如股市的涨落
如何选择股票之类，但女性相对而言不那么热衷谈论这方面的东西。
我希望得到文献上的支持，请问有没有这方面的研究？我wikiw了一下，
有这个条目，也列了一些例子，大部分都挺common sense的，但没有看到上面
这个。 |

这些事。每次闹出事情的都是Sociology的学生，比如DACA的去留问题，大法官问题，
还有这次的中国学生签证问题。
原因是这些Sociology的学生整天无所事事，只有通过这种方法才能上媒体。这个现
象不仅仅是斯坦福才有，其他所谓的左派大学也是这个原因。 |

many times of being ‘too French’, whatever that may mean (…I supposed
that it refers to the close intellectual ties between SSF and Actor-Network-
Theory and, to a lesser degree, the economics of conventions). So, we are
doing what many minority groups do: we take the insults and wear them as a
badge of honour. We [heart] French sociology. PS - I did not forget my

西方国际社会学（或称全球社会学）的蓬勃发展，略迟于西方发展经济学和发展政治学的发展。五十年代和六十年代，帕森斯的社会发展理论占统治地位。七十年代，社会现代化理论、依附论、世界体系论，影响广泛。现在，只有世界体系论硕果仅存。主要代表人物有颇郎伊、艾森斯塔德、墨尔、佛兰克、斯卡齐波尔、梯利、傅高义、林茨、蔡斯-丹，而影响最大的是沃勒斯坦。在亚欧非世界大体系中，中国第一长达一千多年，欧洲是边缘。1865年前后，英国产值超过中国；1900前后，美国产值超过英国；中国成了边缘。今后几十年内，中国产值有可能超过美国，并长期保持第一。果如此，则中国第一就是人类世界体系的常态。

今天读了SARTORI的一篇文章“from sociology of politcs to political sociology
”,挺有意思。大体说如果ｐｏｌｉｔｉｃａｌ instituions ｓｕｃｈ ａｓ ｐ
ａｒｔｉｅｓ是DV,SOCIAL STRUCTURE是IV,那就属于sociology of politcs;如果
political institutions是IV，对social cleavages（dv）有作用，那就是political
sociology的范畴。不过我当时有个疑问，既然如此，为什么political sociology大都
在社会学系，而不在政治学系？ 问了俺老师，她给了俺一堆不是理由的理由，俺现在
还有点好奇。 |

【内容提要】区别于以往宗教社会学研究通过访谈已皈依基督教的欧美中国留学生来重
建他们信仰转换的论述，并探讨这一转换的理由，本文的田野调查个案深描了一个居住
在香港基督教社区里的基本上是非基督徒的内地留学生群体与基督教组织和人员互动的
动态过程。这一动态过程展示了在被积极传教的情况下，这群内地留学生如何做出了有
限地接受或拒绝宗教影响的反应，在这些反应背后有着复杂多样的个人理由。了解这些
个人理由的多样性和复杂性，并且透过这些个人理由审视香港—内地这一特殊的地缘与
社会脉络，发掘这个个案与其他个案相比的“另类性”，有助于更进一步地理解留学生
们在不同社会情境下所做出的信仰选择背后的理性考量。
