平时我也就一个礼拜打个电话回去和爸爸妈妈讲讲话，这个夏天是真的不放心了，天太
热了，天天要问候一下，说实话，今年夏天真的应该把他们接过来住。不过在非常时期
更能见证他们那金子般的心，对比起我自己在两个礼拜前短暂的高温时叫苦连天的心态
，我觉得自己素质好差。他们每天都开心得告诉我“又战胜了一天高温日”，这样讲着
讲着7月份就过去了，呵呵。

不过，光说热，今年还是上海热，江浙沪整个7月都热疯掉了。我爸爸妈妈不舍得用保
姆（很幽默，这两人从小都是家里佣人伺候惯的，当然我爸爸比较hands on,小时候也
帮着做家务），每天一早，我爸爸还去菜场买点菜，然后就回家不出去了，基本是靠空
调了，在上海没空调很难过日子了这夏天。 |

基础他做的相当失败，进一步的solidarity就无从谈起了，solidarity是民族复兴尤其
是那个时代背景的一个关键点，当时也只有tg能做，至于民主啥的就别扯这个蛋了，你
说tg变态，tg不过是把历史上某些episode包装了一下，比如延安整风，老蒋对老毛整人

为了我们的合法权益，为了我们的孩子，为了我们的未来，8月27日，数百人聚集在波
士顿，举行了一次抗议亚裔细分的集会游行。 这是两个月以来规模最大的一次抗议亚

有些西方社会科学家在概念建构方面的独特思维方法、逻辑和技巧为华人学生所不熟悉
和不习惯，从而使他们很难把握那些概念的实质，这一点在上文讨论韦伯的ideal type
时已涉及。为了更详细地剖析华人学生在这方面的认知困难，我们有必要在此简略回顾
一下西方社会学近代以来在概念建构上历经的几个主要阶段。
我们知道，西方社会学诞生于对西方工业化所引发的诸种社会问题的反思。经典社会学
理论对工业化过程及后果的考 察所遵循的方法最早是历史哲学(historico-philosophy
)式的，其代表人物除上文提及的教条主义化的马克思主义者，还有Auguste Comte和
Herbert Spencer。他们坚信全人类注定要沿着单一轨线发展，这条轨线由诸个前后相
续、性质严格区别的阶段构成，所有的民族都必然依次经过这些阶段，就象夹在 火车
轨道上列车一样没有选择，被动而行。现代社会代表着这条轨线上的最后一站，只是在
不同的理论体系里，这个“现代社会”的名称不同而已。
历史哲学的方法给人类发展施加了太多命定论的规定，其实是把局部历史普遍化，亦即

发帖数: 165 | 50 今天跟一个白人朋友聊天，朋友会一点点中文，但是很烂，他刚刚从中国回来，去四川的一所学校做了一个月义工。虽然已经回来一个星期了，可到现在依然非常兴奋，跟我讲各种见闻，好像我这个中国移民没去过中国一样。后来他问了我一个问题：什么是“团结”，为什么看到中国很多学校的墙上都有这个词。我说Solidarity的意思，朋友说可是你们华人没有Solidarity啊！我一时语塞，竟然不知道说什么。其实当时我完全可以反驳他，但是抱歉，没有。
大家不要喷我，我不是不想维护华人的形象，但是我一向认为，别人已经形成了对我们的固定印象，我们即使分辩赢了又怎样。更何况我们华人自己应该都也感受到了，还反驳有什么用。
其实写这个帖子的时候我脑子里是很混乱的，说不清是一种什么感受，我们华人的优点非常多，勤奋、聪明、重感情、有野心、能吃苦，但是不得不承认的，我们不团结。正是因为如此，虽然美国人瞧不起印度人、犹太人，但是他们在美国混的总是比我们好。
现在我们四户都意识到了这一点，但是大华人环境还是没有什么改观。“团结 紧张 活泼”，我们真的是说的比做得多。 |
