the richest man in China, Li Ka-shing. Chau runs the venture firm Horizons
Ventures. In addition to investing in Facebook, DeepMind, and Summly (bought
by Yahoo), it helped fund the original Siri. When Viv’s founders asked
Chau for $10 million, she said, “I’m in. Do you want me to wire it now?” |
