国内防艾滋的民间人士不止高一个，当年高还在国内时就骂另外一个湖北的“只知道埋
头干活，不会来事。。。”
后来高拿到美国一个奖，就传言中共当局不准她去美国领奖，有几十个特工专门监督她
，搞得她只能用一部“特殊手机”跟境外联系。
来美国领奖后somehow她又回国了，她就说“年纪大了。。。现在只想等死。。。”
后来总算成功流亡美国了。
一个不太让人信服的说法是，高和他们家老头早在7，80年代就退休了，河南省没多大
