威郡，Westchester，距离纽约市三十分钟左右的车程，既有毗邻大都市的便利，又躲

放弃的原因是地基梁出现贯穿裂缝，位置在主卧室和车库交界的地方，从外侧能够看到
一条细缝，多半已被土盖住，这只是这个U形裂缝的一条边。德州膨胀土的特点是周期
性地膨胀收缩，设计这么强大的后张混凝土筏板基础就是为了抵抗地基的隆起下沉，开
裂了的地基梁是远远达不到其设计承载力的。希望准备买房的同胞们对此引起注意。那

赵老师批评的这个对称性的比较方法，根本的方法论是john stuart mill的method of
agreement and difference，在比较史学里有一篇文章是专门探讨这种方法的：
Skocpol, Theda and Margaret Somers. 1980. "The Uses of Comparative History
in Macrosocial Inquiry."
基本的思想就是要找出因果关系必须比较（这是对的），但主流方法是variable-based
的比较，比如：
ABC导致没有X
ABCD导致X
D就是X的原因。这是最最简单的例子，具体的可以看上面那篇文章
这种方法的问题在于缺乏时间观念（对空间观念我有所保留，并不一定在任何case里都
有作用）和reification of some factors，因为并不是所有factor都能用variable来
表示的。还有一个问题就是常常是两个factor的结合导致的结果，比如下面的例子：

发帖数: 1247 | 25 同意，所以没有说具体方法，因为方法很多，即使同一个公司，方法也不断的在改进。
目前做project我们用treenet从近千个选到top50，
然后做empirical analysis，transformation， regression选变量，加interaction，
这几步反复。
以前有先对变量cluster，主成份，快速选取的。最复杂最慢但效果最好的有在
logistic regression里，对somer's D做敏感度分析一个一个选的。treenet的好处
是data preparation方便，linear nonlinear关系都能找到，top 50变量，加上
interaction一般模型可以达到很好的效果。
再具体也不说了，这个东西是靠日常在实际运用中积累经验的，不是广靠听就能会的。
对于面试被问到如何从上千个变量里选，我个人的观点是，除非你有过实际操作的经验
，否则也只能说听来的皮毛，不要太指望能和有经验的面试者做深入讨论。

成对成对出现的
你按照wald score排序来做一个cumulative wald score，肯定会发现最后
那些var都是用不到的
另外你这个图只显示model本身，logistic regression的somer's D呢? c score呢?
如果以上的数据都不错，你还得需要看validation来证明model是可用的 |
