much time to water. Dance competition is one of the reasons. Believe it or
not. I've done 5 competitions since the beginning of this year.
Before I seriously began dance training, I did some social dance including
Disco. Disco always comes into my mind with a song, "What a feeling", which is
the theme of a movie "Flash dance". Does anybody know it?
Long long time ago this song gave me a picture of the feeling of dancing. |

favorite" is defined as "being listened to repeatedly 30 times" :D Beata and
Max used it for show dance. it could be a nice combination of rumba and
foxtrot (foxtrot most identifiable at 3:26 - 3:41. it's the instrument that
makes it sound like foxtrot, i guess).
Best listening experience of this song: stay away from lighting or noise, go
to a window, just feel the wind drift under the night sky (of course don't

我其实是先听到Bob Hillman的这首歌才去买了那两张碟子。06年我胡乱买了一大堆打
折的CD，BOB HILLMAN的Welcome to my century是其中大浪淘沙至今还留在CD架子上的
一张。Hillman是个没有名气但是挺有趣的歌手，他唱“我爹TMD又喝酒了，我就该让他
那么呆着，但是不成，因为我还指望花他的钱”，他唱“我怕变成游戏的输家，我怕生
病，我怕你离开我，我怕变成秃瓢”，他唱“咱在纽约城里住，成天不是嗑药就是揍孩
子”。。。，这生活看起来冰冷又混乱，但是Hillman的声音温厚又踏实，听起来只觉
得好玩。这样一个人，居然会读《战争与和平》。“Like epic poetry, old folk
songs， Gargantuan themes, impossibly long”，这样的歌词我觉得也写得出来，而
且，好像不读老托的书也写得出来。。。

single word, except that I heard a series of "La....La...la la la la la", "
La....la...la la la la la". The song is like a mix of rock and rap with a
rapid tune.
Note that if you know the song, you will find the "La"s was sung in this

I know I shouldn't turn this board into another "Chinanews".
However, these two songs always make me think of the relationship
between China and Taiwan. I never had this feeling before.
Now I am in the United States and have met with some Taiwanese
students. They are nice people and I have made good friends with
them. I really think people should try to understand each other.
