从加州开过去，途经sonoran desert monument
而且，也算是顺路，8号公路直插过去
看了精华区，没有见人说起过这个，请问
有去过的同学给个建议？

多河，到达尤马，这里已经是亚利桑那州的地界了。午饭打尖，继续向东。
北美有四大沙漠，从俄勒冈往南数分别是大盆地沙漠（Great Basin Desert）、莫哈韦
沙漠（Mojave Desert）、索诺兰沙漠（Sonoran Desert）和奇瓦瓦沙漠(Chihuahuan
Desert）。其中索诺兰沙漠号称是北美最热也是最“潮湿”的沙漠，同时它也号称是物
种最丰富的沙漠，仅植物就有两千多种。
任你物种三千，我只拣一种看，我这次专门去看巨人柱仙人掌（Saguaro）。这种巨大
的仙人掌只在索诺兰沙漠野生，是该沙漠的标志性植物。第一个目的地——索诺兰沙漠
国家纪念地（Sonoran Desert National Monument）。
车过尤马不久，公路边就出现了这种奇异的植物。百竿千竿地挺立着，高大地笔直地挺
立在路边，第一次看到这种景象，有一点震撼的感觉。当时给我的强烈的印象，就是“
