由芝城华商会主办的2010「第十届芝加哥龙舟赛」(ChicagoDragonBoatRace)将在7月24
日在华埠谭继平公园举行，本届比赛将有30支队伍参赛，精彩的龙舟赛事、多文艺歌
舞表演、美食及小商品摊位，将为大家带来一个难忘的夏日。
正在海军码头演出的上海马戏团，届时将为侨胞献艺，麦当劳小丑、NBA芝加哥公
牛队吉祥物(BennytheBull)，芝加哥棒球队白袜队吉祥物(SouthPaw)届时也将前来助兴
。在龙舟赛当天，谭继平公园将有多食品、小商品摊贩，为大家提供夏日美食以及各
种纪念品。
伊州大学队(UIC)、美国家庭保险、芝加哥华埠消防局、麦当劳、21区警察局等30
个小区机构及公司届时将组队参赛。华商会会长梅施美瑛表示，芝加哥龙舟赛是由华商
会主办的年度大型小区活动，希望通过主办龙舟赛，为唐人街小区带来商机以及客流，
促进华埠旅游消费的发展。梅施美瑛表示，龙舟赛是一项小区公益活动，每年龙舟赛赛
事收入的盈余，都捐助给唐人街的小区学校。
本届龙舟赛具体时间为7月24日，上午8时至下午5时左右，地点在芝加哥唐人街谭

extremely success.

Yankees has a tradition to chase old but proven, insured but tough, pitchers.

I watched the first two games and the second and third sets. It seems that
Safarova was very aggressive and the left hand (she's a southpaw) was on
fire. Every time Li Na served to Safa's left hand she would be killed by a
very fast return.So she kept serving to Safa's right hand side and
occassionally surprised her with left hand serves. It seemed to be working
most of the time.

Sufjan Stevens is set to appear at a literary event in New York.
However, the Michigan indie-folk darling will be speaking rather than
performing at the PENultimate Lit event on November 28.
He will also be appearing alongside British musician John Wesley Harding at
the occasion, hosted by 'Ice Storm' author Rick Moody at Brooklyn's Southpaw
venue.

。。
CD插页注明该照片为“Morrissey’s arse photographed by Jake Walters”。嗯，如此说来这张片片是９０年代中期的古董了。俺来８一下，此(前skinhead拳击手)摄影师曾是Mozzer的PA兼男友。Mozzer当时在爱情滋润下出了他自The Smiths解散后（俺个人认为）最好的专辑Vauxhall and I，Mozzer之后写的在后写地Sonny则是关于两人的分手,Southpaw Grammar内一张专辑也是关于Walters地。
Mozzer臀上的文字｀YOUR ARSE AN' ALL'无疑是来源于Mozzer92年内张名为Your
Arsenal的专辑。
