近期，一个困扰科学家半个多世纪的物理学难题被两位本科生破解了。湖南大学物理
与微电子科学学院应用物理专业2013级本科生连丁坤和胡樑栋于毕业前在扩张的狄拉克
量子化方案内，攻克了曲面上粒子运动的量子化难题。相关成果发表于《物理学年鉴》。
“本科生完全有可能做出惊人的科学成果。他们没有那么多条条框框的限制，反而
胆子更大、想法更多。”论文通讯作者、湖南大学物理学教授刘全慧说。
难题于“胡乱计算”中被攻破
研究微观情况下受约束的粒子运动，就要用到量子力学。如何把量子力学建立在弯
曲曲面上，一直是量子力学中的难题。
半个多世纪以来，人们相信，粒子被限制在弯曲曲面时，量子力学性质的理论描述
将受制于算符次序的含糊性。这使得理论研究者只好求助于采取完全不同于狄拉克量子
化规则的其他理论框架。
“但由于狄拉克量子化方法是最基本的量子手段，学者们争论了很多年，莫衷一是

2006年的最后一个季度几乎都是在面试中渡过的，从我暑假实习的Chevron，到SPE年会
期间的Shell，到校园招聘的Schlumberger，以及后来的BP和Total，我都走了一遭。把
自己的体会写出来同大家分享。
先说Chevron。暑假工作原定是进Reservoir Simulation Consulting组，结果因为另外
一个项目的需要以及跟我论文研究方向的一致性，被调去另一个组做裂缝油藏模拟。中
期突然Manager和几个 Team Leader说要听我汇报，后来才知道这就是他们的onsite
interview，气氛非常随便，前一天晚上还跟他们喝酒吃饭弄到晚上12点才回家。最后
暑期实习结束的时候，他们给了offer，还是在 Consulting组里。
