发帖数: 1049 | 29 你说的吐是什么意思?是把药都spit out呢,还是把其它东西都throw up?孩子咳嗽本来
就很容易吐,喂药就更难了.药放水里很难吃,这个行不通的.只能把药放针筒里喂,但是
这个也是有技巧的.首先让孩子躺着,头下面放枕头,你要尽量用小针筒,喂的时候从嘴角
往cheek里伸,避免把药放在舌头上因为这样很容易被他spit out.针筒伸到脸颊和牙齿
这间,稍微往里深一点不容易被spit out但也不能伤到喉咙.针筒位置放好了就可以把药
挤出去了.你需要有人帮你固定孩子的手脚.
就算这样也还会被spit out一些,你只能自己估计吃下去的量,不够的话再加一点.不要
担心药不够,药店给的药一般会多于你实际需要的量,就算再不够,你打电话给医生,告诉
他被吐掉了或者倒翻了,他会给你refill的.

让家长签字并退回到学校，一式四份的样子，一份给家长，一份给学校，一份给学区交
通部门，一份给校车司机。（另，是校车司机报告的）
小孩子今年刚上K. 之前有问过孩子，说是别人先SPIT在先的，然后我家的才跟着SPIT.
报告上说SPIT 三个孩子，但我家孩子说就一个，咬定一个。小孩子语言表达能力有限
，比同龄人要落后，但是对一些简单的询问还是能表述清楚的。
根据报告上的显示：
PRELIMINARY ACTION 一栏，在HELD CONFERENCE WITH STUDENT 和CONSULTED
COUNSELOR,TEACHER 上打了CHECK MARK.
PRESENT ACTION/RECOMMENDATIONS 一栏，在STUDENT REGRETS INCIDENT 和WARNING/
PROBATION 上打了CHECK MARK.
请问：这样的一份报告，是不是会在孩子档案上留下案底。我家明年打算搬到另一个学
区，这样的报告会一起转走吗？

网上查查，你会看到 war of words, verbal battle, saliva war 这些翻译的建议。
都没有错，但我以为任何使用 war 或 battle 的翻译，都不如使用 fight 这个字。前
者虽然指出了冲突对抗的本质，但缺少了你死我活鲜血淋漓的那种激烈的味道。
由此，于是想到了 piss fight 或 spit fight 两种翻译法。网上一查，piss fight
似乎是个满髒的事情，不是口水战的意思。而 spit fight 不是现成的词，似乎没人在
用，如果真是如此，我以为 spit fight 比较好。
Anyway，未来四年，我们会看到类似的 expression 天天在用。 |

因为每次都是事后老师跟我说，所以没有证据。第一次老师是说“娃spit everywhere,
让她别那样做不听，就问她是到厕所去spit还是到外面去，结果我娃自己选择到外面去
，所以就让她到外面spit了。”当时听了我就想为什么要让她选呢，她那小懂什么呀，
为什么不直接让她去厕所。然后就对老师说外面很冷呀，老师就笑笑，因为当时赶着带
娃去上课就没再跟她多说什么了。没想到第二周又发生这种事，老师给我打电话说娃不
听话，让我过去一趟，我去了以后teacher leader就跟我说我娃怎么怎么不听话，干了

娃：“有一点不乖。I made a mistake。”
我：“犯什么错误了啊？又跟小朋友抢玩具了？”
娃：“稍微打了一点点架。Just a little bit, not a lot。”
我：“a little bit 也不好啊。老师批评你了吗？”
娃：“有的，还让我lunch的时候sit alone了。”
我：“就因为抢玩具嘛？”
娃：“不是，我spit on somebody了。”
我：“啊？？？为什么啊？”
娃：“因为别人spit on 我了。我太生气了，我没有叫老师，我就spit了，然后我就
sit alone了。It's my mistake。”
我：“算了，下次记住，别人做错了你不要跟着做错，知道了吗？”
娃：“知道了。”
我：“Promise?”

用中文说口吐莲花还是狗嘴吐不出象牙），人家就回答我 I wanna spit out eggs!
他也常常这种答非所问的态度，我还得压着怒火给他在解释n遍，他才明白我的用意。
我觉得就是这种孩子的思维有点天马行空，关键要让他听懂你的真正意图，他才能说出
make sense 的话。所以说根源是理解力的问题，要多说几遍，慢慢说。 |

Jul 5, Homer Otter cove cruise
Homer最著名的就是它的spit，直伸到大海深处。上面都是商店和旅游公司。本来一直
犹豫要不要看棕熊抓鱼的-实在是太贵了！600多块钱一个人！后来我们在那家著名的
Bald Mountain店（老太太说他家的棕熊抓鱼最好看）门口看了半天的录象，终于解了
馋。
Spit的灯塔下面特别热闹，原因是帅哥光膀子切鱼！！！哇，围观的人那叫一个多啊，
还有给小费的！帅哥也特别意气风发。
兔子喜欢钓鱼，听说Spit尽头是钓鱼天堂（看GPS上那个小尖尖）。果然，好多人在那
里钓鱼。中午阴天有风的时候，见人一会儿扯一条，一会儿扯一条。杀鱼的人都忙不过
来了，好大鱼就扔在那里没空理。不过下午天气好了之后，鱼就没有了。
看不了棕熊抓鱼，又不能钓鱼，我们临时定了个短的cruise，可以看鸟和sea otter，
只要3个小时。但是捆绑销售了一个岛上的午餐，貌似象中国的农家乐餐厅一样吧。公
司是Otter Cove。

less crowded area, you do not see many people spit, does not matter with
their races. However, if you are living in the crowded area, like NY, yes,
lots of people spit and some races do have higher percentage.
Well, I guess if Chinese cities are not that crowded, there will be less
people spitting? |
