但是确实有很多人不喜欢《Moby-Dick》，特别是Melville同时代的人。Melville死后
多年，大家才说这是个名著。作者活着的时候，对于这部作品寄予了很大的希望，但是
始终没有被大家接受，可以说是太超前了吧。显然，他早期的作品，例如《Typee》，
一夜走红，但是他精心雕琢的《Moby-Dick》，却完全没有人买账。后来，这部作品被
认为是one of the best literary works of all times。
不喜欢他的这本名著，可能是因为作者喜欢搞现在时兴的Info dump，说着故事来着，
忽然讲解一段关于鲸鱼的自然历史和解刨，然后还用一大堆偏难怪的单词，逼着大家都
去查字典，而且很多词字典小了的都查不着。作者的Prose还是相当古怪的，那一开头

根据报告全文，皮尤中心给19，984名科学家发出了调查问卷，3748人（18.8%）完成了
问卷调查。其中生物医学学科背景的科学家占50%。报告没有说明50%的生物医学背景是
否能够代表科学家总体的学科构成。更大问题是在这50%的科学家人群中，有多少人的
工作是与转基因作物的研究有关，以什么样的方式相关。报告没有提供任何信息。
由于这些关键信息缺失，88%的科学家相信转基因安全的说法毫无意义。在一个没有代
表性并且无法排除偏向性的样本中调查，科学家相信转基因安全从1%到99%与88%没有任
何不同。好消息是超过半数的美国民众认为转基因不安全。

理由如下：
shelter对猫是负责的，他们用diet science这么多年了，也没什么问题。

最重要的还是要看成分的百分比，比如说protein占了多少，至于添加了什么并不重要。
我想调研一下：
1、by-product对猫不好的证据。我找到了一些，但是都是一些博客什么的，并没有很

spayed情况不一样，具体数据不清楚
当然这个因狗而异

in general are good for in vivo application, since they tends to accumulate
non-specifically in liver, spleen, bone marrow and lymph nodes, which are

70%以上就很好了。。。
结果现在还在纠结，做一次耗时间耗试剂，抗体+beads。。。都不便宜，结果还没做出
什么东西，有点良心上过不去啊。。。
为了明天的小meeting，今天再尝试一次。。。又要扔出去无数的银子。。。哎。。。

发帖数: 64 | 45 为什么不用FACS sorting？先用CD11b beads enrich, 然后sort。不知道你需要
isolate哪个population。我常做的是inflammatory monocytes，CCR2是个非常好的
marker。如果你需要isolate所有的monocytes的话，可以用CD11b和CD115。不过CD115
需要用two steps，priamry用biotinylated-CD115,secondary用Strepavidin-PE。 |

monocyte，因为我要做signaling，不过如果再不work的话，我就只能用
positiveselection呢，今天烧完钱就开始想positiveselection的事了。。。您这刚好
就提供信息了，谢谢哈！我目前是用CD115单标检测最后的purity的，我需要所有
monocyte。。。但是是不是说CD115会被激活的monocyte cleave啊？。。。
对了，CD115基本可以作为monocyte+macraphage的marker吧。。。不过macrophage貌似
不太影响我的实验。。。
